Thank God for that. The boring, drab and dreary gray in my current hose was really messing me up at night.
I don't really know for sure what color mine is. All that insulation is getting in the way of me seeing the hose.

Oh, so that's who I once got that tip from! It works!

Are these all interchangeable between brands? I got a S9, found the Slimline hose very flexible and accommodating, but it's crap quality resulted in it cracking twice...the third time the DME suggested they were having issues with that (doh) and supplied me with a standard hose. Stiff, twists up easily, grrr. Would love a recommendation of something more flexible yet stronger than the Slimline.

I also have an S9 Elite with the slimline hose and really like it. However I have seen a lot of comments about the hose not lasting which worries me as I travel a fair amount on business and am disconnecting, reconnecting, and coiling the hose for packing. I did purchase a spare hose but of course I had to pay out of pocket for it but it was at my insurance carrier's contracted rate with my DME ($18.59). I would think if you use a standard size hose you'd switch from slimline to standard.
