Sleep Apnea Video on Good Morning America Health

Post by Pad A Cheek » Thu Apr 29, 2010 5:44 pm

Hello all,
As I said the GMA Health program did a piece on Sleep Apnea.

Here is the link to that portion of the show.

http://abcnews.go.com/Health/video/slee ... s-10511936

I think the word is getting out more an more about how important it is to treat this.

Karen

Nice segment, especially for a "morning show". Looks like you got pretty good exposure Karen

Good Luck (you deserve it)

Dave

I was so excited to see your products on tv! I still think that they should have given the website and interviewed you a little bit to make it more personal.

I also disagree with them saying that sleep apnea affects mostly middle age overweight men. I am, however, interested in the fact that they say it may have a genetic component.

In any case, it was very exciting to see your high quality products there!

Warmly,

Jersey Girl

Wow! I wished Ihad seen it on tv. It was a little choppy and had trouble understanding it, but I did see your products lined up so nicely on the table. I hope this gets you more business and such. Good luck with every thing, Huggies, Fay

Well, any exposure about Sleep Apnea is good. Too bad the doctor they interviewed was ignorant. Did not enjoy the blonde calling masks "machines". Good exposure for Padacheek! Glad they found you and included you!!!!

Cheers,
B.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

Indeed, that was wonderful! Go Karen!!

My one beef with part of the segment was when they kept going on and on about how loud the machines are! Jeez they're not THAT loud, and they just keep getting quieter. Nice way to scare folks off, eh?

I was also particularly peeved that she kept calling the mask a 'machine' -- as if you're wearing that seven-pound flow generator like a lear jet on your nose. Rrrrrr....

However -- I suspect Karen, that you are going to start getting a lot of new business now. You may want to consider talking to your hosting service to make sure your website will be able to handle the extra traffic. Believe me, the trouble you take in advance of continuing stints on TV will be well worth it. If you're already set with a fairly elastic bandwidth situation, good for you!

Again, congratulations.

Congratulations Karen I saw the segment yesterday . I felt so proud for you when I saw your products on GMA. That is such a honor for your products to be featured on such a high profile show. All of your hard work has paid off.

Great exposure for you Karen. Your product is the main reason I stuck with CPAP and I think it is true for a lot of folks. Hope you get lots of business and good luck for the future. Carol

Karen

That anti-leak strap you sent me has been an incredible improvement for me - now 5 weeks & still next to no leaks vs substantial leaks.

I hope you sell a million of them.

One very happy customer (who paid nothing to trial it but regained a life).

Thank you, thank you & again thank you

I also had issues with her talking about cpap machines like they were jet engines. Her family must use really old machines as mine is almost totally silent when running it, lol
