How do you find the ID number in order to determine what machine you've got?

The naming conventions for the PR systems are incredibly confusing. According to SleepyHead, I have System One RemStar Pro with C-Flex+ (451P). Is that one of the good ones for data?

Respironics machines have the model number on a sticker on the bottom of the blower. They don't make it easy to know model name just by the wording on the machine unless a person knows the wording and most newbies won't know.

ResMed machines have the full model name clearly stated by the on/off button.

Your 451 P machine...that's a PR System One Pro CPAP with CFlex machine and it is a full data machine.
Straight fixed single pressure delivery. Offers pretty much everything the APAP models offer except varying pressures and Flow limitation data. The reports from the Pro models will show no Flow limitation events at all but that is because the machine simply doesn't record them..not because they didn't happen. I wish they would at least flag them but Respironics chose not to do so.
So a minor "con" to that model but otherwise an excellent machine.

Ah, thank you very much for that!

It looks like I got confused with the naming and put the wrong machine into my sig so I'll go change that now.

I really hate it how these companies operate. These naming methods seem to be purposefully confusing.

EDIT: Although now the machine doesn't show up in the sig :/

The choices in the equipment list are all tied to products that cpap.com either has or has had in the past as part of their inventory. It seems that there are a few machines where the links are broken. Just type out the brand and model name of your machine in your comments line.
