Katherine Leaving CPAPtalk

Post by johnnygoodman » Wed Dec 30, 2009 2:16 pm

Greetings CPAPtalkers,

Today I've got the sad duty of letting you know that Katherine will be leaving CPAP.com and CPAPtalk.com. She is moving away from Houston to be closer to family. We wish her well.

During her short time with us she has done a lot of good things for the CPAPtalk.com community. She's run Product Challenges, developed the CPAP.com and CPAPtalk.com twitter pages, and launched the CPAPtalk Wiki.

These tools she has setup are only as strong as our community's contributions to them. Given that, I'd like to walk through a few ways you can personally take advantage of and add to the things that Katherine has made available:

1. CPAPtalk Wiki. If you are a registered CPAPtalk user, you can edit and create new pages. If you find yourself answering the same question again and again for newbies heading in, consider writing up a short article and linking to the article. It saves you time AND your article will be one in a treasure trove of information that is the CPAPtalk wiki as a whole.

Here's a video on getting started: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJ3LGxR1Jn4

Here's a step by step on editing pages: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crVkxZpbF3c

2. Twitter. Sharing CPAPtalk with the world is as easy as clicking the "Twitter" button on threads you find interesting. This will post them to our CPAPtalk.com Twitter account and make them twitter searchable.

3. Make CPAPtalk Warmer. Add your profile to the CPAPtalk Wiki personals page here: wiki/index.php/Special:Listusers. You can share your story and your pictures. You also can keep people updated by including the link to your wiki page in your CPAPtalk signature.

Here's My Profile: wiki/index.php/User:Johnnygoodman

Here's Carolyn's: wiki/index.php/User:Carolyngoodman

Here's Ashley's: wiki/index.php/User:Ashleythompson

Here's Roosters, Unique Slowflake He Is: wiki/index.php/User:Rooster

If you have any questions about the Wiki, Product Challenge, or Twitter from here forward, you can PM CarolynGoodman.

Katherine, your cpaptalk family has benefitted from your expertise and involvement, and I'm glad you passed our way. Enjoy being live and in person with your first family. We can't compete with that! I hope you can look back on this time in your life and know you were a part of something life changing for so many. Blessings.
Kathy

Katherine,

Soul sister, I will never forget your very kind words to me.

I'm sorry that you'll no longer be working here. I hope you can stop by once in a while, though. You have done a spectacular job, and I hope that you'll be very happy in your new work and circumstances. Great things await you....

I'll think of you on your birthday.

Best wishes,

DreamOn
