Comfortlite2 - Hair flattening

See at the top of the mask...this is causing a perm flat spot being trained with my hair. I really like the mask except for this. Anyone have a solution to this odd ball issue?

Thanks!

I actually prefer the previous version of this mask (but it was more fragile while traveling or even just putting aside during the day). You can see the https://www.cpap.com/viewImage.php?PNum ... _RGBLo.jpg comfort lite didn't smash your hair like the new one. This mask feels more solid than the previous.. but, I also think it keeps my head warmer, I don't like that either.

I don't actually use the nasal prongs. So, what do you call the non-prongs? Where the whole nose is covered, but not up the nose? I ask because I like that previous version not smashing the hair, but I don't use the prongs. I use the nasal "covers" that came with it. I wonder if they come with the old model....

Hi everyone. I am on my quest for the perfect mask. And wonder about the Comfort lite 2. Can anyone give me any info on it as far its comfort, seal or is it too combersome? What about for us side sleepers, is it good? What about being secure on the head with the hose connected, does it cause any undue pulling or stress on the nose? Thanks! Happy New Year!

I had deduced that the mask would be good for me when sleeping on side, as well as back....and it also works on stomach. I had figured the lack of rigid side pieces would stop the pillow from pushing the pillows off of my nose when I slept side. And, I was right on the most part.

I can sleep in 3 out of 4 positions. I have trouble on my right side (my preferred side sleep ) Why....gravity kicks in and my nose isn't level...so the mask pulls and causes one pillow to lose seal.

Now the pillows can be adjusted, but I can't seem to get my current pillows bent the same was as the first time...and probably by the time I do, it'll be time for a new set of pillows.

Now on the hair problem...I have a cowlick on the back of my head...and this mask makes it worse.... It also seems to cause a sore on the back of my head....usually around the time I plan to get a haircut.

It's still currently my preferred mask.

The Dreamer.

The CL2 mask was my first mask, chosen out of a whole bunch when I requested a mask fitting prior to my titration.

I've used it as a nasal mask (cover-the-snoot), with nasal pillows, and with direct seals, which are a different kind of nasal pillow.

It's comfortable, works for back or side sleeping. I'm not a tummy sleeper, so I don't know how it would work for that.

It stays nicely on the head -- in fact, I like the CL2 strap so well, I've modified two other masks -- the Headrest and the Zzz-mask full face -- to work with the CL2 strap.

The forehead piece is somewhat heavy, I agree, but it's dealable.

You can find Rested Gal's list of modifications for various masks here:

viewtopic.php?t=15104

and the modification to use a baseball cap to hold your CL2 headpiece instead of the blue Klingon forehead can be found here:

viewtopic.php?t=21772

Now, if you want a smaller headpiece, but like nasal pillows, the Headrest is great. One of these years, I must get the pictures taken of modifying my Headrest to work with a CL2 strap up on the board.
