Where do all of you get the great avatars you have and how do you get them here?

Use Google > Images. You may need a simple graphics program to crop and resize to 150 px or less.

Or you could use your own photo, either realistic or "doctored" in a photo editing program that adds filters. Or a pic of a pet - it's wide open.

Mine is the picture that made me adopt the craziest dog I have ever had. His mother was a greyhound/whippet cross and his daddy was a Scottish deerhound. His name is Pencil and it is the perfect name for him.

We have two schnauzers who have worked relentlessly to get the humans trained to achieve just the right ratio of snacks, play, rides, and fork over a lap on command.

Anytime I see a great picture that I like even if it's one I recieve in one of my emails, I just " RIGHT CLICK" on it, scroll down and click on "Save Picture AS", hope this helps!!
Then I save it in my Sample Pictures in my documents/picture folder.
