cpap.com poor customer service (funny!)

Post by kjeske » Wed Mar 11, 2009 12:17 am

cpap.com has poor service once an order is shipped if a problem cpap.com does not respond or even return an inquiry call this poor service could be expected of a fly by night internet sales, but not of a prescription medical device firm

I would find this more interesting and more relevant if you
1. completed your profile
2. gave us an objective description of the problem rather than meaningless invective

i would have to aggree on this one.

I was looking to buy a cpap cause i had just got a prescription and i emailed them several times and recieved no answer back. Then i figured maybe they are just experiencing a high volume of emails and decided to call them. And the whole time im just trying to ask some questions about some CPAP's tring to find the right one for me.

ON three occasions i recieved rude snobby person on the phone and they were very un helpful and told me to try their website out and would not answer my questions. My last phone call i had some one pick up and he told me to check out their FAQ section or submit a question online and hung up on me.

Poor Customer Service i agree.

If your looking to buy a cpap or mask try cpapscience.com [[Moderator: I've edited out this link. Also, this guy logs in as a guest a few posts down and agrees with himself. <shakes head>]]
i bought my cpap through them and they were very nice and helpful. cpapscience.com showed alot of enthusiam when talking to me on the phone, and added they answered all questions i had. After it was all said and done i was the proud new owner of a Respironics cpap and sleeping peacfully and comfortably at night.

Added after i order my cpap since i was closeby they delivered it to me and set it all up and showed me everything and how to maintain it. Very nice people and a company i would recommend to anyone with sleep apnea.

I would have to whole-heartedly disagree. I have never had a problem with any of the several orders I've placed through CPAP.COM, including getting a Remstar "Tank" auto before they were made unavailable by Respironics. They've earned my business.

Need more info: What is the problem with the order? How did you try to contact?

Very satisfied customer. Order was shipped in a couple of days. Price, service very acceptable.

I consider CPAP.COM a premier supplier of equipment, as they have always answered my questions in a very courteous and responsible manner, and their shipping is outstanding, and their pricing has always been great.

I have found when I called CPAP.com about a question about a product I found very helpful FRIENDLY service I trust this site and do order as needed . I will support their business and recommend it to all. You haven't given much in details and your post is lacking in information ,also it's always easier to talk negatively when your not facing the person you talking negative about.

I agree with the happy people on this thread. Generally if someone has a valid beef with a business they would come here and tell the story of what had happened and what the responses were. If you are trying to rile people up it will take more than that because most of us have had very good experiences with CPAP.com.
They would also be well advised to have their profile completed and be willing to answer pointed questions. So if you really do have a valid problem maybe you can come back and give details.

This.

Because I am absolutely shocked by some of these accusations.

Every time I call CPAP.com, they are EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. I don't want to call anyone a liar, but wow, what a different experience they are describing!!!!!!! It's like someone has an interest in that other internet site and is trying to drive business away from this one.

I literally think of this company as a God-send. I had to buy all of my equipment on my own nickel, and they saved me thousands of dollars and on top of that when I call them they are as friendly as can be.

I agree, Nobody. I haven't dealt with them much, but when I have, the folks at cpap.com have been way beyond helpful.

Rather than continually bumping this to the top with our enthusiastic support and well-satisfied comments about cpap.com (as I am doing... sorry!!), I suggest that all of us lower Maxwell Smart's Cone of Silence and not give this TROLL any more attention. Please... just let this thread die a quick death.

Considering the way this post was written, I would guess there may have been poor communications skills (or stupidity) on YOUR part.

I'm going to have to agree with the Robby on this one. Although I have bought from cpap.com before. However, I have had an instance of a talking to some one that was a bit rude in my opinion. Kind of how Robby described. I have talked to nicer people in the past but this instance was more recent.

And i don't know about cpapscience.com. Im going to have to say in contradiction of what was said about cpap.com ,cpapscience when i looked at them have nearly equal to competing prices. This is from what i saw from just checking out their site.
