I thank you for being sympathetic with my situation, but your attempt to lure me into dealing with you under the guise of getting one up because you have "connections" and may be able to get me a unit free strikes me in the play the system and get one up on somebody modus operandi.

Pogertt,

I am about 98% certain that I know who Mike is from the description you posted and the tone and purpose of his PM to you. Although I frequently disagree with him, Mike is a good guy who likes to help people.

Pogertt, you seem unjustifiably suspicious and cynical in this situation and that is very bad form to post Mike's PM and attack it.

I hope you can lighten up soon over this entire matter.

Rooster

I've never used the enemies list on this forum, but anyone who publishes a PRIVATE message clearly deserves to be put on it.

You didn't do your homework and ordered the wrong equipment.

The vendor offered you a 50% refund. That wasn't enough for you so you came here to whine.

Someone approached you privately to offer help.

You published the PM and then claimed that you were taking the "high road."

I don't think you would recognize the high road if you had a map.

Meanwhile, the vendor will have to pay the cost of your ignorance, and eventually pass it off to the rest of us. There is no such thing as a free lunch.

Sounds like it is time for some good old fashioned "read-the-whole-thread" before commenting.
