From reading it's description it sounds like substandard reporting of need data. Maybe their ad people didn't know what the users want, either that or the company didn't. Jim

I'd definently want to see the reports before buying. It sounds like compliance logging is their main game.

AHI
Sum of apnea and hypopnea events
Time with delay active excluded

That doesn't sound like event to event details, within a time grid, AHI is lumped together, no Flow limitation, no Snore monitoring, It sounds Lame, to me. I just read what they wrote like you copied. Sounds like someone the Ad people or the makers dropped the ball. Jim

Maybe some day, someone will buy a copy and post the pages. I don't want to buy a pig in a poke.

I would be interested in seeing what a report actually looks like. This is not clear whether the software gives summary information or detailed information.

Encore Pro gives me detailed graphs of my sleep each night, showing pressure, apneas, hypopneas, snores, leaks, etc. all plotted out on a time line. It also gives summary information for each night and for a specified period.

I prefer the Sandman Auto (not the Intro). It gives you obs apneas, obs hypopneas, central apneas, central hypopneas, runs, snores, cycling, AHI for both obstructive apneas and hypopneas and central apneas and hypopneas. There are screenshots of the Sandman online as well as screenshots of Respironics and ResMed on the forum.

If you haven't already bought the machine, you might want to check out to see which machine has software that will give you the most information...before buying. For me, I check the software first before deciding on the machine.

Best to you,

Anne

Here is the link to the view of the software: http://www.devilbisshealthcare.com/medi ... mLocale=ca

It looks like it meets out needs even if their ad people don't have a clue on marketing. It pays to factor the software and XPAP both before buying as Anne said. Jim
