apnea/ca-56 index/h-1.1
hypopnea 38 index/h-0.7
hypopnea/fl 6 index/h-0.1
acoust/vib 16 index/h-0.3

The conclusion of your data is that your ApneaHyponea Index totals 1.8 which is well below the 5 which is the "normal" ceiling. The next question is how do you feel? The leakage around your mask which "bugs" you through the night waking you over and over may not show in your data.

Looks good to me although the format is different than I am used to looking at.

Good Luck,
TerryB

I am still feeling sleepy during the day...I am trying to figure out why yet. I have been on the hose for 2 years and I finally decided to get myself away from the 20 mg of celexa I take everyday for hpertension. I am getting mixed results on how I feel every day. I do tape at nite.

And, an average of 6 hours and 20 minutes may not be enough, either. I know it isn't for me. If my average dropps below 7 hrs., I'm draggin.

yes,I tried straight pressure of 9, sleep doc wanted me to try an apap. actually I tried the cpap setting on this machine at 9 and still felt the same with worse numbers. I am only sitting at 5 or 6 most of the time.

I see the range on your machine is 5-12, so maybe it's too wide. If it's too wide, the machine may be running up unnecessarily and causing arousals. (runaway pressure). (Even if it is taking care of the apneas.

Also, I'm not familiar with the format of your data, but are some of these central apneas? [referring to the "apnea/ca-56 index/h-1.1 " number above]. If so, perhaps the top number is too high. This happened to me with a top number of 11.5, so I had to bring it down.

I'm very much a newbie, and know nothing about the machine you are using except it's my impression that it's more vulnerable to runaway pressure, so perhaps some more experienced members could comment on this.

Your overall numbers look good, as others have said, but having a lot of arousals (and also not enough sleep) could account for it.
