Sleep Apnea Wiki

Post by jskinner » Mon Apr 30, 2007 10:59 am

I have started a sleep apnea wiki at:
http://sleepapnea.wikia.com

I think we can use this as a place to organize all the extremely useful information that is regularly shared here. (Its _not_ a replacement for cpaptalk.com its an additional recourse.)

The Wiki is completely empty right now. Please feel free to go there and add articles for any and all sleep apnea related topics.

Cheers, -james

PS If anyone is a good artist we need a good logo for the site.

Its the Minas Basin. I was at Kingsport beach at the time (2 weeks ago).

I have started creating a list of sleep clinics in Canada at:
http://sleepapnea.wikia.com/wiki/Canadian_Sleep_Labs

I'd like to create a world wide list. The starting point is:
http://sleepapnea.wikia.com/wiki/Sleep_Labs

Please add the information for the sleep lab you attended if its not present. (To edit a page simply press the edit button at the top of the article)

I highly recommend that you register and login before doing edits (but its not absolutely necessary)

I've started to create 'stub' articles for numberous topics. Please feel free to expand a stub article or to add stub articles yourself.

Nice! I'm always happy to see a source of more information.

I did up a couple of possibles for a Logo. If you can use either, please take it. I used copyright free clipart, and added a bit. If you need changes, I can change size, background color, and font. I liked that the world was represented on this one since we have visitors from several countries here. And you won't hurt my feelings if you don't like either of them.

I like the second one. I've added to the site. I'm limited to 135 pixels wide and 155 pixels high. I resized it but you can probably do a better job with less quality loss. I also need it in PNG format (I did the conversion but again may have lost some quality)

OK....this one is 135x143 and in png format. I don't know that it is any better than what you did. Will leave it to you to change if you want. I have never done anything with a WIKI. More to learn.

Skinner,

I am a graphic artist. Let me know and I can come up with a few logos. Is there anything particular it should say?

James,

Maybe you can add a link to the Berlin Questionnaire. I don't know how or I would.

Mary

Here is a link to the questionnaire and scoring guide.

I've added a stub for it. You can find it in the Questionnaire Category
