Thanks guys!

What a pleasant surprise. Now I have a confession . . . When I wrote on April 8th, that my birthday was "tomorrow", I left out a couple of words, "day after". Kinda like lysdexia, or suchsome. (Then again, might have been a senior moment . . . , Ugh!)

Thanks for the thought, Sharon. Today wasn't bad, but not great either. In truth it was a day of few successes - time spent trying to help work through undocumented software "features". It was mostly futile. But that leaves great hope for tomorrow . . .

THANKS,
Bill (who truly appreciates the warm thoughts . . . .)

Uh oh... Bill's having a senior moment about his birthday. Gasp! Sadly I think I've been having those same senior moments about my own birthday since my twenties or thirties. My wife still has to tell me how old I am, or I have to calculate it out. Yet I never miss her birthday or our anniversary. Go figure.

Anyway, from what I can tell people are already out celebrating Bill's birthday as if it were a national holiday. Here's one such stranger who probably thinks Bill's birthday is today instead of tomorrow:
Image
Above Photo: This anonymous birthday festival patron requested 55 ounces ("plus or minus 55 ounces") to celebrate Bill's 55th birthday.

As for me? I think Bill's a very clever man to have his birthday observed two consecutive days on a message board.

Cheers twice, Bill!

Just wanted to mention, before Bill pushes his luck, along the lines of...

"OH! *smacks forehead loudly* I meant WEDNESDAY!"

...the cake is gone.

(check with Doug, may be some stale ale in the fridge)
