no detail data in Oscar
no detail data in Oscar
The truth I don't up load my data very often, but noted my AHI is geting higher then it has been. I look at the screen and if things look ok I dont go much further, in fact I haven't downloaded information in almost a year. I have been talking to others on Nextdoor and decided I should look at my data closer. I downloaded the current software and data today. Im getting only summary data and no detail. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I 've never had this issue before.

Was the SD card in the machine during the night when the machine was in use?

Re: no detail data in Oscar
If you aren't seeing detailed data on prior days then maybe the card was in the machine but not seated fully and that's why no details are available.
I have done it myself...insert the SD card and not confirm that the machine recognizes it and I guess I didn't push it in totally or bumped it and caused it to back out just a little. Not enough to notice but out enough that the machine can't write to the SD card.
If you have details now with same card we can't blame the card.
Just make sure when you put the SD card back in your machine that the machine recognizes it.

Until your centrals are approaching 10/hr then just ignore them.Pinhead wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 3:17 pmPugsy I just signe up for Imgur if see if this works. https://imgur.com/EmG3I8m what im concerned with is most of my events appear to be centrals, last night about 5 events per hour almost all are clear airway

a few centrals happen here and there, but they're nothing to be concerned about unless you're having a bunch of 'em all together.

Re: no detail data in Oscar
There's a lot of "it depends" when it comes to when we might be a little worried about central apneas.
It depends on how many and it depends on when they got flagged and it depends on the question were we asleep or not.
If not asleep...doesn't matter how many we see other than it reflects poor sleep itself. A symptom of a problem more than a cause of a problem.
Here's one of mine. Initially a bit ugly looking but this night I had a major visit from the insomnia monster and I simply couldn't fall asleep.
All these "centrals" are nothing more than awake pauses in breathing and the machine thinks that they are central apneas. I never went to sleep until after the second cluster of "centrals".
For help in figuring out awake vs asleep flagged breathing you can watch the videos here

Re: no detail data in Oscar
I have done this a few times myself. I didn't have the card fitted in the slot properly. Now I pay close attention to the screen when I load it up and watch for blue lights flashing near the card slot when I put it in. It takes time for the SD error message to show up.
I also had a POS walmart card in there that broke after a few weeks, so getting a good SD card is essential if you will be taking it out a fair bit to follow along. The POS card just stopped working and the blue light never blinked when I put it in and machine stopped recognizing it.

One thing missing on the report from the other person you posted their report...lynninnj wrote: ↑Sun Sep 18, 2022 10:19 amOh, you mean like this?palerider wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 3:35 pmUntil your centrals are approaching 10/hr then just ignore them.Pinhead wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 3:17 pmPugsy I just signe up for Imgur if see if this works. https://imgur.com/EmG3I8m what im concerned with is most of my events appear to be centrals, last night about 5 events per hour almost all are clear airway

Anyone notice that the machine didn't seem to flag that flow rate pattern as CSR????? Unless the snippet just doesn't show it or it's turned off....and why I don't like snippets like that.
And one report all by itself like that isn't the end of the world either....doctors look for repetition or trends or patterns before they push the panic button....if they push at all.
One or two nights with ugly central index isn't the end of the world. Step back...take a deep breath and look a the big picture too.
