On my dreamstation go, the different flex settings are giving me the following cm h2o epap relief noted in oscar. These are when the pressure is stable rather than climbing or falling since the difference varies then.
Cflex 1 - 0.2
Cflex 2 - 0.3
Cflex 3 - 0.4
Aflex 1 - 1.5
Aflex 2 - 1.6
Aflex 3 - 1.8
The user manual doesn't specify the exact amount of relief, just that the higher number gives more relief. Are this typical relief numbers others are setting with PR devices? Seems like I should seeing a greater difference than one tenth cm h20 between each setting...

Re: PR Flex settings
There is no set amount of relief at each setting because the amount is based on your own flow rate or forcefulness of your breathing but the most you can get is 2 cm drop during exhale at a setting of 3 and you get that only if you breathe forcefully.

Re: PR Flex settings
Do resmed machines work in a similar manner? Or do they provide the cm h2o corresponding to the epr level regardless of flow rate?

Re: PR Flex settings
ResMed EPR or exhale relief is a strict per cm drop up to 3 cm setting. So setting of 1 is a 1 cm drop, 3 is a 3 cm drop and force of breathing or flow rate doesn't change it. You get what you select.
