Is that the day between Saturday and Sunday?

I always forget the car then panic the first time I drive somewhere.

I'm retired, don't really pay much attention to the clock. I go to bed when I get tired, and get up when I get enough sleep. I don't really pay much attention to what the clock says except for Sunday morning or if we have a doctor's appointment.

The atomic clock in the kitchen will change itself. Eventually.
(((We changed it last fall, only to have to change it again because it did that--late.)))
Auto-resets change our phones and computers.
I will not reset the time in my cpap--it will soon be replaced, to become my travel unit only.
Gotta change the car clock--safer than digging out a phone in transit.
The bullfrog still wears his calculator watch--old habits die hard.
[[[I'm one of them, so I'm not griping]]]
Probably the resetting clock still follows the old schedule. It used to start later and end earlier.

That occurred to me--one clock is new enough to conform, (but has not)
Last fall, it was 2 days late, which does not compute--the switch is ALWAYS on Sunday.
The old one was built earlier--and we turned off the auto-change in favor of manual zone change.

Consumer "Atomic clocks" are not true atomic clocks in the sense that they keep atomic time. They are marketed as Atomic clocks because they automatically synchronize their time to atomic clocks that are responsible for keeping standard time.

They don't automatically update based on a schedule. They update by receiving a radio transmission. If your clock doesn't update, it hasn't received the signal. Place it in a window, preferably facing Colorado (where the broadcast originates from in the US).

Trump tried to shut down the transmitters in 2018,
which would have made any "atomic" clocks useless,
except for the pricy ones that use GPS.
My Garmin keeps better time than my phone--it has to.

If it's not getting a good signal, it won't adjust promptly, I've got one that has the same issue, it has an external antenna, and if the antenna's not pointed right, it just won't sync up.

I have the same problem.

I mean, I don't own an atomic clock;. I've got the problem myself.

My Atomic clock set itself OK. When I got up Sunday it had already reset to the correct time, I knew what time it was in Paris.  No kidding aside it worked just fine.

Have you tried sitting yourself by a window that's facing Colorado?
