SPILL, already!

Just in case you may not have noticed, DH has chosen to ignore all questions and comments made by you and some others.
Ok Your Rudness, here are the four CPAPs I had since 1999.
1. 1999 – F&P HC-201. This was the only CPAP on the market at the time that had an integrated humidifier. It was large and noisy, even by the standards of the time, but it did the job. The gasket stopped making a good seal, so it was time to replace.
2. 2005 – F&P HC-233. It was similar to the first one, but a tiny bit smaller and a lot quieter. It works to this day and is my backup machine should the new one fail.
3. 1999 – AEIO-Med Everest 3. Very small and very quiet, and has an integrated battery. This unit records no compliance data and has no heated hose. The power cord has a very fragile non-standard connector, and that is what broke. The manufacturer went out of business in 2011 after their factory burned down in China.
4. 2016 – Phillips Respironics DreamStation Auto. This machine is state-of-the-art. It is approximately the same size as the AEIO-Med Everest 3, and even quieter. Great reporting capability, and a heated hose. No integrated battery, although I understand a battery is made specifically for this machine.
Good for You!! D. H.

I am willing to bet that Den (Wulfman) has the oldest machine and he is still using it. There was a thread awhile ago that asked that very question, he has several old "tanks" and still swears by them.
Woody if you want to know who the oldest member is, just do a search above, there is a thread with that info too.

I am still using my F&P 604 that I got seven years ago, it is my backup and camping machine. Its a brick but still works just fine.
Absolutely!!!
It's hard to improve on "perfection". All of mine were built between 2005 and 2007. All of them have been used to one degree or another, but there are only a few I have used on a regular basis. Three have over 10,000....11,000...and 12,000 hours on them.

There are also a few others on the forum who use them, too. "Goofproof" is one and "6PtStar" is another one that I know of.

By the way, the last one I purchased was from "Woody".....in Feb 2012. Only had 3.2 hours on it. It's the one I'm currently using.

I have my first machine, a Healthdyne Tranquility from 1987 , but I use it just to dry out my hose and mask after scrubbing them. Of course, it has no electronics whatever and the pressure is screwdriver adjustment. It is primitive by today's standards, BUT it gave me immediate relief from severe sleep apnes ( 63 or so events per hour)

Of course, if your current machine should fail on a weekend or holiday, you'll use the antique until you can get a replacement or repair!
