I had a similar issue with my unit. (Same)
The AutoStop quit working. You'll see replies above that suggest just using the on/off button, but you also mentioned other issues.
I had the same problem. First autostop quit, but then I had some nights where I was struggling for air.
Bottom line? My unit has been out for repair for one month. It's on the way back to my DME from the warranty repair.
I hope to get an update of what they found. My advice, if auto stop is has suddenly stopped working, and you don't have any mask or tube problems, leaks, etc., you probably want to have it checked out. When my DME contacted Resmed, their folks did on online check, and said no problem found. Thankfully the DME had checked the unit and confirmed that it was NOT working properly. Resmed authorized the return, and I hope to get the unit back in the next week.

If you are having issues, insist on a proper repair.
Many times you are given somebodies repaired unit not yours, you could get one back that had had more problems than yours, Also the warranty doesn't restart. So a small problem like yours, could get you a older unit that has had a much worse repair, plus not being your germs.... Jim

Thank you all for your responses!

For those of you that noted that I will up the creek with no machine if it has to go in for repair, you are right. I cannot sleep without it and I am mystified as to how I did for years before I got the machine! I've been thinking I need a backup machine, so maybe this is my wakeup call (no pun intended) I've seen many on Craigs list and FB Marketplace, just always a bit too far away for driving.

Your body tried to adapt to Sleep Apnea before you got your machine, and failed, you got the machine your body adapted to Sleep Apnea with the machine, and it helped.
Everyone need a backup machine or two. There are people hear that have good deals LSTAT is one, There are others also. It is easier to do that living with a wake up call. All of my machines are "TANKS" over 14 years old still working fine. Jim

It's not a small problem when the machine stops functioning properly. I'm not referring only to the auto stop function, but basically little to no air output multiple times after the auto stop problem presented itself. Do you have evidence of Resmed sending contaminated machines back during warranty coverage? I have not seen that.
Most of the reports I read here emphasize that germs in the machine, (or even the hose) are not an issue.

I have a record of my SN, so I'll know if I get a different machine. I also have a pretty good idea of the hours on my unit, and it's pretty easy to see how many hours are on a used machine. I'm not too worried. My point is that if you are having multiple issues, it's a good idea to get it fixed.

Unless there is a back up machine, having a machine out for a month could be a disaster for some people.
I agree. I am fortunate to have a back up travel unit.
One month is crazy in my opinion. The DME blames Resmed's time to authorize the DME to send it back. They say it's usually more like 2 weeks. Still too long IMHO.
My DME doesn't do loaners. Perhaps some do.

Hey,

I am new around here, but I just wanted to add some info that might be helpful! I found this place by searching "Resmed Mini autostop not working". After reading through and messing around, I gained an interesting piece of information.

If you have problems with the Mini not stopping, one thing to check is the air filter. I have been having problems for a few weeks and I randomly decided to check the filter... the filter was dirty. I cleaned it off and the unit now auto stops like it used to. I know this won't help everyone, but maybe it might help a few!

Cheers
