Re: Recent Sleepyhead data
I suppose anything is possible, but that's certainly *not* a a common thing.
Now, if you had a bilevel and cranked the pressure support up too much, it'd be like hyperventilating... and that could cause dizzyness while it was going on, just like if you sat there taking the biggest possible breaths you could.. ya know?

Re: Recent Sleepyhead data
I’m dealing with vertigo the morning after sleeping with APAP at minimum pressure 11. Up from 10-10.5 the 5 days prior. Who knows...I’ll cut back to 10.5 tonight. AHI has been great.

Re: Recent Sleepyhead data
Six consecutive nights with AHI of 1.1-0.5 (a first) and it seems that my elevated blood sugar has dropped to almost normal. Wow. Looks like I have to cut back on metformin. Vertigo could be due to too high a metformin dose. Lactic acidosis I don’t need.

Re: Recent Sleepyhead data
That is much more likely than it being min pressure related.

Re: Recent Sleepyhead data
Analysis please? I feel like I'm on slightly excessive minimum pressure. Ears popping, nausea and vertigo. Definitely swallowing some air. Otherwise, 6 nights of almost no events.
I’m getting the first real sleep I’ve gotten in years and I’m feeling more energy. FWIW, I'm the symptomatically hypersensitive person at the far end of the bell curve who has extreme reactions to small modifications in therapeutic modalities.
As to nasal pillow mask fit, I don’t see how I can adjust it. I have small nostrils and even the small pillows feel too big. Nasal pillows are what work the best for me.

Re: Recent Sleepyhead data
So good to hear your numbers are consistently good AND that you’re feeling more rested. I will leave the analysis to the experts, but in your place, I would try lowering the minimum pressure just a small amount, give it at least three days, and then assess. You’re aiming to fine tune to improve comfort and good rest while keeping your numbers in a nice low range.

Re: Recent Sleepyhead data
There is a mask fit function that blows high pressure to fit your mask. If it seals, it may be mouth leak while asleep.

Re: Recent Sleepyhead data
Twelve nights of excellent AHI.
I woke up up this morning and for about half an hour my head felt normal and the weakness subsided. I just walked about the house testing it and enjoying it. Feeling kinda sorta human.
