Well what do you know...I just discovered that the machine displays the pressure setting when you hit the therapy button. D'oh!
I'm currently at 9 cm.

that's good! now, could you maybe start towards getting some of that data out of the machine and post it here? that way the experts can start helping you.

I'm planning to, but my laptop is on the fritz at the moment. Hoping to be able to do it later in the week. I don't suppose there is a mobile option for Sleepyhead?

bummer! no like dog said, it's software only, no convenient app at this time.
we'll just have to wait patiently until laptop comes alive, i reckon!

Well, I resurrected the old laptop, and after much weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth, I got Sleepyhead installed.
Except, it will not open.

I have restarted and still nothing. I will try again tomorrow. Maybe by then the computer will have recovered.

After eleven years, it's time for a new sleep study and a new machine. If the mask you're using is working for you fine, if not you're not married to any given model or style of mask.
Remember to keep the old machine on hand as a spare (if it's in working condition).

Hi you might have an older machine but you haven't been using it too much. You probably don't have too many motor hours on the machine. I wouldn't worry excessively about a new machine or titration study yet. Let's get some data and let the resident experts give you some ideas. If things look okay when you get some data, or after some tweaking then you can always consider 2nd wind or local craigslist for a gently used machine. But as I said, it's probably too early to think about that yet.
Can you get to the directory where Sleepyhead is located. Inside the directory are two applications called Sleepyhead and Sleepyhead-BrokenGL. Try both, but if you have an older computer you may have better luck with the brokengl

From the author:
Both BrokenGL and OpenGL versions use OpenGL accelerated features of the graphics card.. BrokenGL does it in an slightly more boring, less optimal way in the code, but does it in a way that can work on older computers too.
BrokenGL name does not imply a broken or excessively degraded... it's just the compatibility version which runs everywhere. If the OpenGL version (which I did not create any binaries for 0.9.6) is run on an older computer without OpenGL 2.0 support, Qt doesn't give any warning, it just causes glitches and crashes, which is why I added the detection and warning messages. you didn't see the OpenGL version, because I did not feel it was necessary to release it for the 0.9.6 test build, as the BrokenGL version covered 100% of cases with a relatively minor performance hit.
