Here are what I'm considering:

Mirage Quattro
AirTouch F20
AirFit F20

Which is best for higher pressure, non-leaking sleep comfort?

Thanks,

Mike
Why don't you just buy some more sets of headgear? (if your current mask is working well for you)

But, be sure to have some spare masks and sets of headgear and cushions/seals for future use.

And, if you're throwing your headgear in the washer/dryer, be sure to put the Velcro together to keep lint from getting into it. The lint can also be cleaned out with a "pick" or some sharp/pointy device, which makes it hold better again.
Guest,

The current gear is working somewhat. Even with cleaning, the velcro has lost is zest for life. It doesn't take much for the two parts to pull away. I hand washed it only over the years. I think it just plumb wore out, as they say down South.

Wilson to Wilson : There is no "perfect" mask, we all have different likes and dislikes and of course different shape heads and face structure. What is almost perfect for one is not for the next one . I started with the Quattro and then fell in love with nasal pillows, but I still have an F10 for when I need it. My son also started with the Quattro and has switched to the airfit , after 3 years with the Quattro he figured he needed a change . According to him he finally got rid of the forehead piece and can now wear his glasses to read in bed with the F10.
Good luck finding what you like and works for you.
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.

I have two thoughts about the forehead piece. It looks like it will keep the mask on a little more snugly, but on the other hand I understand it leaves a mark on people's foreheads. Also, the rig looks bulky compared to the F10/F20. But like your son, I'm ready to try something else. It's not a cheap experiment.

Thanks,

Mike

I thought the forehead piece was to keep pressure off the bridge of the nose. The Quattro allows you to dial in the exact height off the bridge.

Newbie here for a week with Air Fit 20. Has memory foam around nose--but have already tried 6 other masks that did not work. It kind of locks onto your skin, and for me makes the best seal. . res med score 98-events 1-2. I was hopeless with the others. I know zip about Quattro. Strictly personal choice here. Nose needs replacement when the foam no longer bounces back.

Mirage Quattro is an older style mask. The airfit F20 and new foam will be your best choices. Much lighter, too.
