I haven't been quite that bad, but I do tend to fall asleep while I watch tv in bed. I use a full face mask, and my nose will tickle if I don't fall asleep quickly. So, I can't wear my mask while watching tv. Too annoying. What I did was set a kitchen timer for an hour, out of reach. If I fall asleep, the timer wakes me up, and I get ready for bed. If I go to bed correctly, I just turn off the timer before I go to bed. I have never fallen asleep in the middle of getting ready.GrandpapaPatrick wrote: My situation like everyone's is special and unique.
How many of you have taken a drink of water and fallen
asleep before you have a chance to swallow it!
Now, I have managed to take my mask off to make an adjustment for leaks, and I have fallen asleep before getting it back on again. Fortunately, that doesn't happen that often.
I am sorry that many people are not friendly to newcomers they disagree with. Personally, I think your idea is overly complicated. A simple timer, placed out of reach, is enough. I do think it would also help if you join the group, read, and get a feel for the group before posting something that you hope to get feedback on. I realize you said you weren't trying to sell the idea, just get it out there. But we are used to people posting ads, trying to sell stuff, or trying to get us to do their homework. It tends to get old, and people get grumpy.
