The background is the good part, I thought I would do a teaser, this is from the railing of a cruise ship with Hubbard Glacier.

Yes, but comparing this avatar to you last one, you look SO MUCH YOUNGER in this one. And the background is definitely a teaser, as you say. Where is Hubbard Glacier? Anywhere we can cruise to?

Mike is right, Hubbard is in Alaska and it is the ultimate cruise but does cost more and the airfare is more expensive. I like to fly to Seattle cheap anf drive to Vancouver and do the passage. If I were to specialize it would be Alaska, I have done three cruises there and a land trip through Denali and would live there if my wife would.

Thanks for the younger comment Lori, is has to be the suit. The suit picture is actually four years ago and the Alaska was in June. And I have lost ten more pounds since then.

If the group wants Alaska, I would do it in a heart beat. But it would cost more and can only be done during the summer as their winters are something else. If any that have taken the survey want to switcfh it to Alaska, just email me again and I will track those comments as well.

I pulled a rv trailer from Miami to Alaska...took 4 months and 16,000 miles.
We spent 5 weeks in Alaska and drove 5,000 miles there . I would not suggest such an expensive trip for the group since it will eliminate many that can not afford that kind of get together. The change in times zones and the exhausting sightseeing are both hard to adapt to for us Easterners. But then I would travel to the end of the earth to meet some of the people fropm this gang.

Cruise

Just east of Alaska is the Yukon Territory. Summer of '05, I "cruised" the Yukon River about 450 mi. from Whitehorse to Dawson City in a 16 foot canoe.
If you would like to set something like that up for next summer, I'd be on that cruise.....lol

Something tells me that most of us on the list are not in shape for such a venture but I have no doubt that it must have been spectacular to do!

I just want to keep this thread on tghe front page. If anybody else wants to join us on our get together trip, please email me for a survey and have your wants counted. This will be the last week for the survey before I start putting it to use and offer up some trips or cruises to vote on. We have more than enough to make it happen as far as surveys. I look forward to working with everyone that has responded in making this a great get together, and in meeting you. I hope we have such a great time that this becomes the first annual cpap trip.

Again, email me at randrtravel@mac.com for a survey. I will share the results this next weekend and hopefully have several trips to vote on soon after. This is going to be fun!!!!!!!!!!!
