I'm using the PR dreamstation and this device does not seems to come with a speaker

however, a dismantling guide will still be useful since I think we will need to replace the battery sometime in the device's lifetime (similar to our PC). The guide noted on the location of the battery, which is very useful.

This leads us to one question, how do we set the date of the device after replacing the battery. My dreamstation's date cannot be altered. I can only change the current time in 30 min intervals (i believe this only sets the timezone). Report date/time has been correct so far

send it in for repair. it takes special hardware and software to change the time on a respironics.

you aren't changing the time, you're just changing the displayed timezone.

that'll change.

The aliens must have decided to be kind to me because all the Respironics machines I have owned over the years have never had the battery/clock issue. I still have a 760 that is I guess at least 2 or 3 years old (I don't remember and don't want to dig it out to check it) but last I used it the clock was still accurate.
I have had 2 M series and a 50 series APAP and BiPap along with a couple of 60 Series BiPaps....never had the clock be off.
If I get real bored I might dig out my 760 and use it again to see if it has drifted yet.

maybe your aliens are fixing 'em for you

I think my M was about an hour and a half off when I was using it, and that was around 2011... or, maybe it was just the aliens
