Been using the Swift FX nasal pillow off and on for 5 yrs approx. and no one has noticed a difference and looking at photographs the only thing I noticed I'm heavier. Oh the good life.

So, if I gain enough weight, my nose will look smaller?
-----BAD THOUGHT!

I know this sounds kind of funny. But I fear my nose and nostrils might be getting larger after using the cpap nose pillow for a number of years. I hope this is just my imagination. I already have a large nose and I realize noses get larger with age. Does anyone know if this actually happens to people?
Perhaps there is a different mask I should be using rather than the nose pillow?
Please let me know.
Thanks
There is some evidence that it could have some effect on a child who is growing. However, if you feel that your nose and nostrils are getting bigger, suggest you go to a nasal mask instead of pillows. I got that feeling that you describe when I had a nasal pillow that was too large, but you've been wearing them for years. I did not know noses get bigger with more age. Hmm...

I think your nose probably sags. Why not? Everything else does.

You just made me log into my Facebook account and compare pre and post CPAP pictures to see if my nostrils grew. Thanks

I'm happy to report that, no, my nose and nostrils have not grown.
