Last night data.
I didn't have any aerophagia last night. What a relief. These settings seem to be helping. Hope is last. Thx a lot for everyone's in put.
My Ent is sending me to a new sleep doctor. His office is saying that they may request a new sleep lab test. I will see what they come up with. Thx again. The only things I changed was the settings and hose position.(I hung it over my bed. I am going to get a hose holder soon. Thx again. I will keep you posted.

Last night's data and your lack of aerophagia means these settings can work. I would leave the settings alone and concentrate on hose management.
RobySue probably knows more about CBT and sleep issues but she seems to be taking a vacation from the forum lately. Probably has some family issues going on (she did the last time she took a vacation from the forum).
I don't know if anything she has written in her blog will help you or not but if you haven't seen her blog you might take a stroll through it. She has battled insomnia in some form for a long time.

Last night data
I feel better. Working on sleeping longer. The aerophagia still good. I had and appointment with the sleep doctor today. They cancelled. They said I need a referral from my PCP. But my Ent doctor is the one sending me to another sleep clinic. Even though I need them, there is always drama. They are never there with me for the nine yards.I would still be suffering if it wasn't for this forum. After I got the doctor once, I could never get him again, mainly because the office never picks up and when you leave a message they don't return your call. That's why I am changing doctors.
Want to work on Hypopneas. I think I would feel better it there weren't so many of them. From what I am hearing, they are hard to get rid of.

Bear in mind that anything you do to reduce the hyponeas is likely going to increase the aerophagia risk.

Hyponeas are flow reductions that don't make criteria for an OA or a central.
Still need 10 second duration but the amount of flow reduction needed to meet criteria is less.
Usually 40 to 50 % reduction (depends on which machine brand) as opposed to 80 to 100% reduction for an OA or central.
Hyponeas can be central in nature but from what I read most often they are obstructive in nature.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

Last night data.
How does it look? I still feel tired, but not exhausted.I I am mouth breather. I wake up with extreme dry mouth. I am going to purchase the cervical collar, may be that will keep my mouth close.
I tried the chin straps, but it didn't help. I am learning to keep my tongue to the roof of my mouth. I think maybe that might be helping the aerophagia. I don't know, what do you think?

This was last night data. I used a different mask, the hybrid from Innomed. Chart looks funny. I had it on until I woke up, but there seems to be a lot of gaps. Not a good reader of charts.
