Um, n2it is here today. I actually have a life though and spent the entire day and evening with my children, ate some great food, drank a little wine, and watched some great football. Unlike you poor souls, I actually have a family who loves and appreciates me as well as the many valuable friends and employees that I have as well.

It is painfully clear however; that some of you do not share with me some of the aforementioned. And as a Christian, I actually feel very sorry for you. I really do. There can't be anything more miserable than being alone, un-liked, and unloved (even by your own family). I couldn't imagine the pain. But you most likely brought it upon yourselves. I mean for God's sake you can't even make a friend on a computer board...and that's pretty damn hard to accomplish. I guess kudos for that, huh?

In fact, my Christianity (as is usually the case) spoke to me about you poor souls both last night and today. So with that, I will have no further comment to any of you and will not provide any further assistance to this community. I am moving on to better and more positive things. I have people that depend on me and I will concentrate my efforts on them.

The really sad thing however; is that I am guessing that some of you people (haters, self-loathers) self-identify yourselves as Christians. Well, I pity you because you know not the meaning. I can tell by the BW photos that some of you have posted to your profile that you're getting very close to having to answer to your God for your hatred. And, I'm not a hater so I will pray for you.

To those of you that offered assistance when I first subscribed to this board; a heartfelt thank you! To those of you that have been sending PM's concerning these same backwards thinkers; my thank you for your comments and support as well. It's a shame because this place could be such a success story for OSA patients.

But the bottom line for me personally is that I don't need this place anymore. Critical thinkers move forward, which is why I lead a successful life (and unfortunately you backward thinkers despise people that are successful). You live for self pity and misery everyday, and I really do feel sorry for you.

As to the IP addresses; I am forwarding those to the owners of the board with exact quotes of those of you that have berated new users and have offered/suggested what can only be construed as horrendous medical advice and attempting to "practice medicine without a license". Yes, that is a felony in every state (not to say that you will ever be charged even though I believe that some of you should). It will be up to the owners to decide what they want to do with you.

But once they read the letter from my legal staff, I'm fairly certain that your IP's will be blocked permanently. Why you wonder? Because once CPAP.com is placed on "legal notice" they become what is known as "vicariously liable" for your actions. And the fine print won't protect them in most courts of law. Now, I realize that you folks with an IQ of less than 70 do not know what that means. So, you might want to Google the term.

My last post will be a copy of that certified letter to CPAP.com. It will be posted sometime in the coming week (when my staff gets to it). I'll even include a copy of the certified card demanding hand-service with a return notice. Should be interesting...

You have no idea how many times that subject has come up on the forum over the last 11 years.
It is not against any laws for a person to change their own machine settings. We've challenged others in the past to produce any laws that prohibit it. And, no one has ever produced a link to any state laws that do prohibit it.
And, NOBODY here is "practicing medicine"! Not in any way, shape or form. That's been discussed at great length here before, too. Making "suggestions" to help the users improve their therapy in no way comes under that description. They don't HAVE to do anything we suggest.
We don't write prescriptions or orders. We can't physically change anything in their equipment. All we are are users who speak from our own experiences or from what we've read from others' successes.

And, as I stated before, there's the disclaimer at the bottom of every forum page.

I am shaking my head big time at your actions. In this thread, you go from suggesting making use of the chatroom to admitting you started this thread to draw out the bullies. I despise bullying and have spoken out against it on this forum but I fail to see how what you did is any better when you essentially admit your reasons for starting this thread were disingenuous.

I certainly had a very nice Saturday with the family, BBQ this evening (RibEye's), and yet still managed to get about 7-8 hours of work done while catching a few football games as well. Little confused here. Does this mean if you have sleep apnea you get automatically converted to being a Christian? That really might cause some panic for members who arrive here that are not Christians.

You do know that sleep apnea affects people of all faiths as well as non-believers as well.

This is basically a non-secular board that deals with Sleep Apnea, not religous issues or values. One might question how good of values many self professed Christians have with their discrimination of people of other faiths and even other different christian values when they don't agree.

So this is apparently something you can't do yourself. As mentioned before, posters IP's are already visible to forum administrators which you are not one of.

This has been brought up many times in the past not only here but on other related forums. You are again blowing smoke since you don't know what you are talking about. We are not practicing medicine here, we are a community of like issue users sharing our experiences. No one has ever showed that changing you own settings is unlawful in anyway in any jurisdiction. Doctor's might not like it, DME's might not like it, but that is not the issue here, it is not unlawful.

Based on what you are saying, the forum should not exist at all?? So your actual "goals" are to make the forum go away? Strange. Especially since you came to the forum originally asking questions and have asked many questions in the "chat" section as well.

As you say but history of the forum shows that it is rarely acted on. Normally people who say they are leaving because of such and such or who did what, don't actually leave. There have been some exceptions, but not many unfortunately.
