Newbie, Just Uploaded 8+ Months of Data to SleepyHead

Post by RestlessInVegas » Fri Nov 06, 2015 9:35 pm

Finally uploaded my ResMed S9 data card to sleepy head but when it comes to most of the data, I'm as lost as an easter egg. Anyone want to help me figure it out?

The sticky at the top is nice. But how about we schedule a chat in the chat room about Sleepyhead and what one actually needs to focus on. The software if great but much of it is not actually needed for an end-user.

I am on EST but I see you are in LV. If you can adjust your schedule to meet in the chat room next week between 8-11pm EST, let me know and I'll help you out as mush as I can. Hopefully some of the other Sleepyhead users will join us for the discussion.

But please post a reply or start a new thread concerning the date and time of the chat session.

Have a good night!

Folks, I would not put too much credence in N2its offer of help with sleepyhead. He puts himself off as an expert, when he only downloaded the info on Oct 26th...
2 weeks of knowledge . Please familiarize yourself with Pugsy's tutorial and you will learn what you need, once you have done that just ask on the forum if you have questions.... good luck.
Cheers
Nan

He is also now making legal threats against cpap.com and posters on this forum.

I highly endorse Nan's advice regarding learning Sleepyhead.

Most computers have a slot to read SD cards...why do you think you need a separate reader?
You can ignore n2it and go to the tutorial...it will be easier than using chat.

What type of mask (nasal or full face) do you wear? Your AHI spikes around the time you are in REM and so does the leak. By a quick glance, I would think you are wearing a nasal mask and having oral venting which is causing the leak and the AHI spike. If this is true, a chin strap or full face mask may help. But like metsfan stated, really low AHI of .38 (<5 is considered normal). If you have no complaints about your sleep, you're rolling pretty well right now.
