Zoocrew is correct, the power button on the Airsense machine works the same way as the S9. When you turn therapy off the machine is still in Stanby Mode and the power button will be illuminated green. You have the option of pressing and holding the power button down for about three seconds to put the machine in low power sleep mode at which time the green power button light will go out and the machine will no longer transmit data and other things like cool down cycle will cease, basically the machine is "Off" even tho it is still plugged in. This is what MyAir is referring to in the OP's first post.......in order for the machine to phone home it must be in Standby mode, not Off in low power sleep mode.

Concerning the Airsense10. What does the Airplane mode turn off exactly? How does the Airsense talk to Resmed. Is it a Cell connection and is it always in a transmit/receive mode? I notice that when you turn on Airplane mode, the message to Turn it off constantly overrides the display screen.

When you turn on Airplane mode, it stops the A10 from sending data to Resmed via the A10's built in cell phone/modem.

Hello, I have only used my Aircurve 10 machine 13 times so far, but each time I have had to wait hours for my results to show up on MyAir. The periods I have to wait seem to be irregular. Today I am still waiting after about 8 hours. My machine is switched on and the internet connection shows as good. I find this SO frustrating. Please can anyone help?

It was not a lame question. for most English speakers, on means on.

You are correct in that they should have said to leave it plugged in (or leave it attached to the power source). Some hotels (especially in Europe) cut all the power when you're not in the room, so it's not possible in that case.

BTW, I generally do dump the water, wash the part of the mask that makes the seal, and run the blower for about half an hour each morning. Although theoretically nothing can grow in distilled water, I prefer to make sure the unit is bone-dry every day.

MyAir is not popular here. For a quick look at the data when you get up in the morning, learn to use the Sleep Report on the machine display. It tells you more than MyAir.

You need to get in the clinical menu to see the Sleep Report. Here are instructions (http://www.apneaboard.com/resmed-airsen ... setup-info) to enter the clinical menu. Instead of selecting Settings, select Sleep Report. (If you do go into Settings, be careful not to change anything unless you are sure what you are doing.) After you look at the Sleep Report, be sure to exit the clinical menu.

For more detailed data and analysis, use Sleepyhead, as recommended above by LSAT. Almost all of the regulars here swear by Sleepyhead for managing their CPAP therapy.

Am truly sorry for such a lame question. And yes, I sort of thought that's what they meant. Why the heck don't they just say, 'Keep unit plugged in.' for Pete's sake.
