Re: Increased leak rates plus zero AHI=Exhausted

I am sorry but I have zero experience with the Luna machines. I don't know where the line in the sand is for the machine not being able to compensate for the leaks. It also depends on if the machine reports total leak (which is the vent rate plus ...

... the day. I know if I don't get enough sleep for any reason.....I feel like total dog crap the next day. Hi Pugsy, thanks for the response. I use a Luna G3. It came from my doctor. I am thinking the issue may be my mask.

Re: Luna II auto CPAP machine, questions about

Consider getting a used machine off of an online buy/sell site. I'd get a Resmed 10 or 11 autoset. There is an argument to be made for getting the same machine as your current machine. This way it is setup identical and will perform as your current machine does. It also uses the same consumables. If...

I just now looked. They have a ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet discounted to $672. Great machine. Good price.

considering buying a Luna II CPAP
Personally, I stay away from Chinese-made machines.

You could register at CPAP.com and keep an eye out for discounts. You might find a ResMed AirSense 10 or 11 as cheap as a Luna. Whichever model, make sure it's a ResMed AutoSet.

Re: Luna II auto CPAP machine, questions about

while you're waiting for a reply, try using Google this way-"cpaptalk.com Luna II". that will search our forum and present what ever results may show up here.

good luck!

oh also you might try just Luna as most people will prolly use that instead of the full name.

Luna II auto CPAP machine, questions about

Hi all, If there is a link somewhere in the forum that addresses this question I would appreciate being pointed to it. I'm considering buying a Luna II CPAP to use when I'm staying at an ailing relatives house. Rather than hauling my machine back and forth I'll just leave the Luna at the other ...

Re: OSCAR and BMC and vREM CPAP

This is great! I also have a couple of BMC machines (G2S C20 aka "Luna II" and M1 mini). The M1 mini doesn't support data export at all as far as I know, but the Luna II does and I would love to see OSCAR support for this. I would gladly offer my support ...

Re: Not enjoying CPAP

... a ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset machine. You might try what Chicago Granny suggests. Do you know whether your prescription for your machine specifies Luna? If it does, you'll probably need a new scrip. If you live in the US, you can get one from a cooperative physician, nurse practitioner, or dentist. ...

Re: Not enjoying CPAP

Are you waking because of mask leaks? I don't know if the Luna has a mask fit button, but if not you can simulate it as follows: Set the pressure for your highest pressure (15). now fit the mask to your face so that it doesn't leak in your usual sleeping ...

Re: Not enjoying CPAP

... just coughed up the cash to have them send me what they offered. As far as my AHI, I really have no way to tell between Apneas and Hypopneas. The Luna gives me a Central Apnea Index and that is almost always 0. A couple nights it has recorded it at 0.1 - 0.2 and the worst was a few nights after ...

Re: Not enjoying CPAP

... here may have some experience that would be of some help. It'd be very good to know more about your data using the machine. Unfortunately the Luna series is not supported by Oscar or SleepHQ, two ways in which people can view and share the data their machines generate every night. Do you know ...
