Re: CPAP wakes me up multiple times a night
On paper you're having great results with your current settings, and I wouldn't recommend changing them. I suspect you're just one of those people who needs a minimum of 8 hours per night. It is normal to wake up several times a night. For example, many people wake up briefly after a period of REM ...

Re: CPAP constantly waking me up at night
I used to have trouble sleeping but would not say insomnia Trouble sleeping is insomnia...I don't know why people are afraid to admit it. Sleep onset insomnia....trouble falling asleep. Sleep maintenance insomnia...trouble staying asleep, waking repeatedly for no known reason, or too early and not ...

Re: CPAP constantly waking me up at night
Those leaks could be mouth leaks but they could also simply be mask movement leaks. The machine doesn't have any way to know or show mouth vs movement leak. To the machine a leak is a leak no matter where it comes from. Now some people find that even small leaks from any source will cause wake ups....

Re: CPAP constantly waking me up at night
Why is your max pressure so low? Why couldn't you have mouth leaks - when you're asleep you wouldn't be aware of them. I never noticed that's why, but it makes sense I may not be realizing! What would be your suggestion? I am a stomach/side sleeper and both chin straps and full face masks seem daun...

Re: Cannot sleep with cpap after 5 months
Gosh yes, you would probably feel more comfortable if you raised you minimum to 7 so you could consistently take advantage of your EPR of 3. Do you know why your pressure range is so narrow? If it's important to your sleep to have a narrow range, you might reset the maximum to 8. Is the P10 still c...

Re: Cannot sleep with cpap after 5 months
Do you take any medications of any kind? If so, what? Any other physical or mental health issues going on? When you wake up .....any idea why? Not taking any kind of meditation. I just randomly wake up, lots of times I feel like the mask is impeding my breaking and I just remove it... Other times I...

Re: Cannot sleep with cpap after 5 months
I'm no great reader of charts, and your AHI is actually pretty great, but - Min 5 Max 7.2? No wonder you can't breathe. That would suffocate a chihuahua. Open that sucker up a bit - try min 7 max 20. I feel like there is too much air with anything over 7, and my 98% pressure was 5, but I will try a...
