The latest one looks almost acceptable, let's see what a few more days do. Re: Switching to a better (but used) machine, no professionals are involved.

I realize the AHI doesn't tell the whole story. I know at least two of these nights, I had significant leaking, one night worse than the other. Maybe that's the story my AHI is telling. I am not adept at understanding the data on the graphs. I guess what I need to know is whether I should leave my s...

Re: Distiller for water?

If you feel the need to handle dihydrogen monoxide at all, just please dispose of it properly. It's just running amok in the environment lately. It's been detected in every ocean! I hear it's even gotten into several of our local rivers and lakes. It's just rampant...

Re: Distiller for water?

Or, just use tap water, like Europeans do... (their manuals don't mention distilled water, maybe their tap water is better? My well water has a lot of mineral. I think it's lime. I used it for a while, but when I started getting a white "crust" I cleaned with vinegar and switched to distilled...

Re: Distiller for water?

Seriously, though, when I travel on a day or two trip, I just bring some distilled water in a rinsed out soda bottle. I could fill my s8 twice with 20oz, if I recall. Maybe a helper could "break down" your gallon into more manageable bottles?

Re: Distiller for water?

Has anyone considered using dehydrated? It's much lighter, and takes less space to store. Of course... there is the added step of reconstituting it with water before you use it. I forgot that step once. Really dried me out.

Let it go a couple days, and repeat
Next couple days' results. Next stop: EPAP - 17, IPAP - 20.

Notice:

You have exceeded your parentheses limit for the month. Check back in November.

I can comply with that. [If I have to.] {But it might make my posts harder to read.}

Re: Switching to a better (but used) machine, no professionals are involved.

OSCAR has a little bug in it that if you download once for a day/night then if you use the machine again during that 24 hour period OSCAR won't show the second session(s). So you downloaded for today Tues 15 and you still have tonight...you won't be able to see tonight's data unless you purge today...

Re: Switching to a better (but used) machine, no professionals are involved.

Just miscellaneous notes: 1) It took me awhile to figure out the time scale on OSCAR charts stretches to fit the data. Looks as if it shows up to 24 hours. (Noon to noon, at least with Resmed.) Looks as though it zooms in so that it's full, if you have less than 24 hours of data to chart. 2) My humi...

Raise both epap and ipap by 1cm and see what that does for a day or two., then repeat, till AHI is lower.
I did as instructed, once. It's lower now. Thank you!
