Did some checking of the machine when I got in from work this evening and found that the dehumidifier was not pushed all of the way in (must have occurred during reassembly after one of my recent travels). Anyway, let's see what happens tonight. Thanks for th...

Re: HIGH NUMBER OF EVENTS AT START OF SLEEP

HIGH NUMBER OF EVENTS AT START OF SLEEP
Hello, I have been noticing a high number of obstructive apnea events occurring in rapid succession. It usually stops during the night and the apneas reduce to zero events. It has happened a few times now so I am wondering what is the cause. Please have a look at the attached screen capture of my la...

Re: THIS HAPPENED LAST DURING LAST NIGHT'S REST
Man, with all those zeros, you'd think the machine was hooked up to a breathing robot instead of a human being.
LOL!!!!

Thank you. I paid attention to a lot of the advice given in this forum and applied it to my own situation.Well done.

Re: UPDATING FIRMWARE - DREAMSTATION AUTO
I'd wait until ver 1.3 comes out, it's supposed to turn the screen into a 23 inch H.D. screen and Sat Dish. My recommendation use your machine as is, find something cheaper to play with. Jim A XPAP Brick doesn't change size.
:D I hear you but if there are benefits I want to ...

UPDATING FIRMWARE - DREAMSTATION AUTO
Hi, I just checked the firmware version of my cpap (Dreamstation auto) and found that it is Ver 1.1.2. The latest firmware version is 1.1.8 from what I can tell. Has anyone updated their machine to this latest version and if so, what has the experience been like? What is the general recommendation a...

No. All data-capable machines have automatic altitude compensation (and have for quite a few years).

I wasn't aware. Will do some checking.

Re: New settings for auto cpap
Thanks for all the info I really appreciate it! To be clear I had a sleep study at a clinic with all the wires and hoses, then they called me and said they had sent my prescription to a local medical equipment supply, the prescription was from a doc I’ve never met, not the one I saw first. I don’t ...
