I can't tell you how fucking helpful your posts are. Really, I can't. Having noticed your penchant for nitpicking, here is a timely reminder for fellow Oklahoman's (among others) for you to nitpick. :D Prepare for a snowstorm by staying indoors, keeping warm with layered clothing, and having emerge...

Re: Six months and still struggling
The act of opening your mouth often causes the tongue and soft palate to shift backward toward the throat, further narrowing the airway. Only if you're swallowing. Swallowing what? Air? I do wake up with flatulence. Mostly in the morning. It gets better after a while, as the day goes along. :D

Re: Six months and still struggling
I do not use any incline, but I have noticed that there are those on here that do with some success. I have to use a cervical collar or I end up with the bottom of the mask in my mouth. It (for me) was very easy to get used to. For several years I used the Resmed P10 with a head sweat band and a hom...

Re: Six months and still struggling
I have the same problem (not as severe as yours), and sitting up makes a difference. My problem is getting and staying asleep in that position. So I just tough it out and make myself as comfortable as possible to get the best sleep I can. Over six years now and I work at that constantly. Changing ma...

Re: Six months and still struggling
I guess I just am still confused because if I am only breathing through my mouth then how could I be getting flow limitations from nasal obstruction? It is confusing, but the short answer is that the same underlying blockage that forces you to breathe through your mouth also causes a drop in pressu...

Re: Pressure on left side of chest
Just off the top of my head. Before your treatment for severe sleep apnea, you were probably tossing and turning all night long. Now with the better sleep, you’re probably staying in one position or another for much longer period of time. Your body hasn’t caught up with the new you. Hopefully...

Re: Airsense 10 and F40 mask - blow out
The AirTouch F30i Clear Full Face CPAP Mask https://www.cpap.com/products/resmed-ai ... gKg6vD_BwE. It has a silicone/fabric cushion. It is the most comfortable full face mask I have ever used(by far). Oh, wow! I've been using the F30i for years. I missed that they introduced a fabric-coated versio...

Re: Airsense 10 and F40 mask - blow out
Transitioning to a F40 mask with a Airsense 10. Experiencing blow-out leak after nominal start. Haven’t looked at my Oscar data yet. No amount of strap tensioning helps. I start out with a nice “just right” and mask starts leaking and then I tighten to remedy leak, only to have mask leak again, rin...
