I fear you are right on all of this.chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Tue Jun 22, 2021 10:35 pmI predict that this mess will not only be a huge drop in credibility for Respironics,

I also predict that those ultimately responsible will be shielded from justice.

Re: Who Keeps A Backup CPAP Machine?
I keep a backup. I use a resmed 10 autoset and have another one of those as a backup. I also have a resmed s8 as a backup to that.

Re: Dropped mask on floor
If mine had hit the floor I would have thrown it away immediately wearing a pair of gloves and an N90 mask as not to be contaminated by my own germs. Then I would have cleaned and disinfected the whole floor, walls, ceilings right after. Possibly would have set fire to the home and restarted from sc...

Re: Have you had a COVID-19 Vaccine or have an appt?
I had my second shot. Not as much of a sore arm. I did the day after feel very blah during the day. That evening ran a low grade fever with a light headache and no energy. The next morning back to 100%. So I would call that very light "side effects". To me it just shows that my body is fighting agai...

Re: ResMed AirSense 11 - A sneak peak
And I will shoot the next person who asks me "when"....no one that I know...knows. I am not a party to any of the secrets from any of the machine manufacturers. Nor do I know anyone who might be a party that might know. So... Pugsy... "When" will the release be? Bang....you're dead. pug...

Re: Have you had a COVID-19 Vaccine or have an appt?
I had my first Pfizer shot last Thursday. I felt fine all day and that evening after sitting down for half an hour I had sore arm. It was nothing bad at all. The soreness lasted until the next day then went away. That is the only "side effect" I had from the first shot. I am 35 and am an essential s...

Re: Mask suggestions for a friend
Thanks. Yeah, a chinstrap was a thought, though I doubt she'd use it since she hadn't taken to even using the machine until encouraged by my experiences. I've been fortunate to never need to use a chinstrap myself. I do know of some neck braces someone posted about some months ago here, that may be...

Re: Mask suggestions for a friend
That is tough. Masks are very personal and work for everyone differently. Like me I used to use a P10 with a chinstrap with great luck. As I have gotten a little older the chinstrap stopped working for me due to asthma issues so I had to move over to a full face mask. I now use the F30i and love it....

Re: When is a new ResMed coming out
When is a new CPAP coming out by ResMed? Rumor is that it should have been in 2020 but got pushed out by COVID. Anyone know? I know, but I can't tell you, because of a NDA, just like everybody else that knows. <whisper in my ear. i promise not to tell.> *whispers* I'm just annoyed by the repeated "...
