Re: CPAP Class Action Lawsuit Settlement
I was wrong about them not making a payment on my claim in January. They wrote me a check on the 29th. It appears they paid 100% of my cost of buying a replacement device. The check is for over $700! I was expecting maybe $200 at most as I figured the $15 million for replacement machines would be w...

Re: What material is headgear made from?
I'm not sure how someone is to know what material your headgear is made of without you telling us exactly what headgear you have, brand/model. We can't see your headgear nor can we read your mind.

Re: Mold in Resmed F20 elbow.
I'd be soaking that in 100% white vinegar and then use a strong stream of water to remove that mess. Do you have a Water Pic? That would blast that crap out for sure. What's your cleaning regimen? I have tried vinegar, ultra sonic cleaning and strong water stream. Nothing helps. It seems that the w...

Re: How to test a Climateline heated hose
The S10 Climate Line hoses have 3 pins at the electrical connector, and the newer S11 hoses have 4 pins. I'd like to know how many users even own a DVM, much less how to use it. That said, on A11 the outer 2 pins are the thermistor contacts, inner 2 the heater (they now have separate grounds). *Wav...

I normally sleep on my left side, and I've experienced what you described.
A nice soak in the hot tub fixes me right up otherwise for me it goes away after a day or so.

Re: If I purchase a new machine will I still need my doctor (ENT) to set it up?
A CPAP machine is a prescription medical device that requires a doctor to write a prescription for the purchase of said machine. Without a prescription, you're going to have a VERY difficult time buying a new CPAP machine. A used machine is going to be WAY easier to buy. While searching for a secon...

Re: Air 11 heated tube lifespan
Ok short back story back in 2017 I was using a Phillips dream station I used it for about 2 + years before the recall and I stopped, during the time I used it I got over a year out of the heated tube before I had to replace it, Now I have a new Airsense 11 just about 10 months and I'm replacing the...

Re: Anyone have an old crappy CPAP they'd like to sell?
We've had a woodstove in the house for years and years. I installed it around 30 years ago and we use it quite often. Our stove doesn't have a tube to blow in, just vents. Anyways, if you can't get a CPAP machine for your purposes perhaps a dedicated blower would work? Even one of those blowers used...

Re: CPAP airflow with mouth closed and not inhaling
All CPAP masks have some sort of vent built in. Air escapes the vent, and it makes a bit of noise while it's at it.

Re: Air sense 11 intake filters
My new equipment supplier takes forever to send me supplies I routinely run out of filters and use them slot longer then I should ending up with little white fibers floating in my humidifier water in the morning. Then I go weeks not using while I wait for them to finally get me filters. The doctor ...
