Re: anyone use light blocking eye masks?

Why not get yourself some blackout curtains? These are a necessity for us as our neighbor to the north, for some UNKNOWN reason, keeps ALL of his outdoor lights on 24/7/365. Why during the day? Who knows, he's an idiot! These things are good for more than just blocking out the light, they're also go...

Yep, as long as they're making money, everything else can be thrown under the bus. Assholes.

battery-operated air pumps that folks use to pump up their air mattresses
You know what didge players do.
If you have lungs like that you don't need a battery-operated air pump. Might be an issue if you're trying to dry your CPAP air hose though.

Re: How to dry the hose

You'll get a lot of different answers here. Some folks say to never clean any of your CPAP stuff while others, like me, suggest that you do clean that stuff. It's your machine and your choice. I clean my stuff with water and white vinegar, once a week. A freshly cleaned hose is going to take forever...

Your numbers are excellent, what help could anyone offer for great numbers? Nothing to fix here.

I can't help with your treatment, but I can help with something else. This is an open, unsecured, website that literally anyone in the world can access and read. You have supplied us, and any bad guys, with a lot of personally identifiable information. I suggest that you edit that info and remove it...

Re: Insomnia after 2nd child

I read your post to my wife and we both agree, it sounds as if you're suffering from postpartum depression or 'the baby blues'. I'm sure that your therapist is addressing this, right? "Postpartum depression (PPD) is a type of depression that occurs after childbirth. It is characterized by intense fe...

Re: Pilot-24 Lite Medstrom

I'll bite.

What is a Pilot-24 Lite Medstrom?

A charger of some sort I gather. Why are you using a charger instead of the power 'brick' that came with your CPAP machine?

Why would you need to carry two battery chargers?

And why two identical posts?

Re: Just an observation...but who is going to tell him..

It is not the law at the moment, but starting with the next president it should be! I already is law. I guess that we're still waiting for trump's disclosure? No, we're not. Don't bother responding. If you need to know why, think about stainless steel and rust. Good one! Why don't you think about k...

Re: Just an observation...but who is going to tell him..

Since both Biden and (apparently) Trump suffer from sleep disorders the score is even and we can keep this non-partisan. Just like a presidential candidate needs to make a financial disclosure, (s)he should have to make a medical disclosure. Also, the max should be 75 years at the NORMAL end of the...

Re: Relationship between consumption of alcohol and sleep apnea

I'm just the opposite. Without fail, if I have a few drinks during the day, I'm not talking about getting drunk either, maybe four or five beers over a four-to-five-hour time frame, my AHI's are always lower than normal, sometimes considerably. My normal average is around 3 and if I have a few drink...
