Re: Help Interpreting SleepyHead UARS
Some new graphs. Still waking up and second half of night is light fragmented sleep but figured this might take some time plus a lot of discipline to fix since Ive only been on xpap for 2 weeks now. This was the main problem before xpap and why I began therapy again. I would wake up after 5/5.5 hour...

Re: Nasal Pillow Irritation
Finally review your fitting because no mask should be causing skin abrasions under any circumstances when properly sized and fitted. Thanks all 3 for your help. My machine is on the floor (on my right side). I prefer to sleep on my left side and I think the hose pulls the mask pillows cause I don't...

I'm using Swift LT nasal pillows, large, and I'm experiencing redness (not sore) of the outer portion of my nostril and slight soreness on the inner portion of the nostril mainly from side sleeping it seems and the pillow must pull or scrunch? Any tips or products that will relieve the redness and s...

Re: UARS - my self therapy
Everything was going fine with cpap back in 2012. I didn't use it one night and felt fine the next morning. Did it again the next night same and so on until I just stopped using it. This past summer, for a reason unknown, I started to have the same problems that I had about 8 years ago so I decided ...

Re: UARS - my self therapy
I only have one question for now. The only thing that still makes me uncertain about the whole thing. I usually feel much better in the afternoon or in the evening. Sometimes my symptoms are gone by the end of the day. Is this something other UARS oder OSA people see in themselves as well? I was di...

Re: Help Interpreting SleepyHead
Thanks Pugsy. That was my problem, I didn't login into the imgur account. It seems like too little or too high humidity can cause congestion. Is that correct? Its pretty personal it seems. Just got to experiment I guess. It was cold here last night, single digits. Maybe I need to bump it up to 86F c...

Help Interpreting SleepyHead
I was diagnosed with UARS. My presure prescribed was 5 (with a in lab titration). Looks maybe like I should raise the max pressure of 6? I'm also worried about mouth breathing, anything to indicate that? Also woke up very stuffy, I went from max water level to below the last line. Do I maybe have hu...

Resmed s9 acting funny
I was prescribed a low pressure of 5. The machine is about 8 years old now. Thankfully I'm getting a new machine next week. The problem I'm having with my machine now is when I just finish inhale and about to exhale I have no pressure for a brief moment and it acts like a vacuum on the nasal pillow ...

New (Sort of) and having number of issues
Hey, So I started CPAP for possible UARS/snoring like 7+ years ago but stopped using it because I thought I felt better but guess that was not the case because I began having sleep issues ago (waking up after 5 hrs unable to get back to sleep) I thought some sleep restriction therapy might help but ...

Went to ENT due to reflux issues today. 2nd ENT visit this year, but different docs. First ENT went to after sleep study thought I had UARS and sent me for a titration study. Had study done and flow limitations were normalized with 5cm. Yes 5 cm. Easily able to breathe at that pressure and no chokin...

Resmed DATA Ghosts
When I access the data on the ResScan software to view my night, the summary data has I slept 4 hours straight for example say from 12am to 4am with no period where I turned off the machine. I wake up at that 4am and my mask is still on my face and machine is on. But when I look at the detailed data...

Re: Has anyone tried Xolair?
Might be eyelash mites. There is subtle itching and your eyelashes begin to fall out. At a time a female mite may lay up to 20 eggs in one hair follicle. You should consult your physician regarding this.sickwithapnea17 wrote: Could I be getting sick from dust mites in the carpet?

Re: Infected Hair Follicles, Please Help
I think I read a study recently that people who suffer from sleep apnea are at a higherrisk to be infected with a flesh eating bacteria.
