Thanks so much for this, just got mine! Can you post the type of cigarette lighter adapter you used? https://www.buydig.com/shop/product/E1TEN59148/Tenergy-300Wh-Portable-Power-Station-Battery-LiFePO4-200W-11W-Desk-Lamp-Bundle This is a great deal. Re: Confused about run times for CPAP battery banks

My little 8lb Li-Ion battery (23 aH)runs my Resmed S9 thru a 12 v adapter for 4, and even 5 days if it's 7 or less hours per night. You just have to turn off humidification and heated hose, which is usually fine for a few days, and even if dry, I can use saline spray up the nose to fix the issue.

Re: Need Advice, Please CPAP machine with smaller footprint

S9's tend to last a long time, my last one to fail had 19500 hours on the blower before it stopped working, so you could probably ignore the message unless you have more than 20000 hours.

Maybe a bigger bedside table!

You could also remove the foam, as seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQnJAF3bm98 It shouldn't affect performance.

Re: Confused about run times for CPAP battery banks

I will be using Lifepo4, not lead acid. The AC adapter uses some power, but measuring AC usage would get pretty close. I am planning on a direct DC connection to the Dreamstation. Can't go wrong with this one! Runs my CPAP for 3 nights with heated hose and humidification when camping, and could lik...

LSAT is a great person to purchase from and has an excellent reputation here on this forum.
Second that!

Craigslist has lots of machines too, just look local to you. Machines are cheap on the secondhand market and usually have very few hours.

Re: Cover-Roll Stretch vs MedVance Silicone Tape

I like the Medvance 2 inch tape, and get 2-4 nights from each piece depending on how careful I am when I stick it to the Cpap or the headboard. Used to use blue painters tape, but worried that I was poisoning myself.

I agree about the hose, not a big deal to wash with soap and water.

You might want to list a price as well.

Need advice on new Dreamstation 2

Hi, Got a DS 2 in the recall, and not sure what to do with it. My main machine has been the Resemed S9, and I am unlikely to change it for now. If anyone has used a DS2 I'd appreciate the input. Would it be a good Travel machine? Are there any advantages to the DS 2 over the ResMed? The weight is 2....

It's Over! Finally!

I can hardly believe it, but FedEx showed up yesterday and dropped off two Dreamstation 2's to replace my System One 50 and 60 cpaps! it took forever, and I had to jump through many hoops, but for me the recall is over. They seem like very nice machines and certainly are smaller than the machines th...
