System One Not Recording on SD card

Post by biged46us » Tue Jun 26, 2012 8:27 pm

I got my System One at the beginning of June. After some research I learned of the existence of SleepyHead. I downloaded it and when I tried to read my SD card, there was no data to be read...this is after nearly 2 month's use. I tried to read the root directory on the SD card as directed. Is my System One properly set up?

do you have a system one 60 series? if so, it does not work with sleepyhead. have you looked at your card in the computer, not using sleepyhead, like you would look at any cd or dvd? is anything there? is the card unlocked so the tab on the side is pointing toward the end with the electical contacts?

Need to know the exact model name that shows up on the machine AND the model number off the bottom of the blower unit.

DS something or HS something.
150, 250, 450, 460, 550, 560 one of those...

The 60 models...SleepyHead won't work with those machines but something else will.
150 and 250 models...software is useless because the machines only collect hours of use on that SD card.

So need to know exactly which machine...then we can figure out why no data.

There are a bunch of labels on the bottom of the blower unit, but I think this is the information you need"

Let's get your profile fixed. So please edit your profile equipment tab to avoid confusion later...so we know for sure what you are using.
On the equipment page for machines...look for PR System One Remstar 60 Series Auto CPAP....that is what the 560 model is.
In layman's terms...you have an APAP and not the Pro you have chosen right now which is a straight cpap

For humidifier choose....System One 60 Series heated tube humidifier with heated tube....it is the next to the last one on the list of humidifiers..you have to scroll down.

SleepyHead won't work with your machine just yet but Mark is working on it.
For now you can use EncoreBasic which will give you tons of information. Check your private message box because I have sent you some information on how to get EncoreBasic.

You do have data on the machine...just need different software right now to view the data.
It is Windows based software though. No Mac version. If you have a Mac you have to set up some sort of Windows environment to run the software.

Ah, fixed it. I had to use the "Assign Card" tab and assign it to me before it would download anything.

I can't get my SD card to be read by EncoreViewer or EncorePro v2.7 or SleepyHead 0.9.1. Can you point me to EncoreBasic to see if that will work, please?

Right now the only software that works with the new 60 series machines is EncoreBasic and Encore Pro 2.8...the others aren't supported.
Check your private message box for information on how to get EncoreBasic.
Basic offers the exact same reports as Pro does without being the PITA that Pro is.
If you run into trouble post here at the forum and someone will help you. I won't be available for the next 3 days or so.

Thanks a million, Pugsy! After two weeks of phoning unhelpful support lines and the purchase of both EncorePro and EncoreViewer, I finally have some overview of the data. Now I must just figure out the details of this software.

I read somewhere that SleepyHead was being updated to possibly cover 60 series machines as well?

Appreciate the help,

R.
