Re: How long have you been on CPAP?
I stared on Jan 8, 2010. It was like a magic wand was waved over me and all my fatigue disappeared. I feel like me again. I sleep really well with my quiet machine and my Swift FX. I look forward to masking up each night. Life is good again.

I have laid down without the mask a few times including my last sleep study about 8 years ago and all I couls do is toss and turn. Without the air my body refused to believe it was time to sleep. I don't think that I could sleep without it ever again and between you and me I don't want to. This is the last vice that I have left after quitting smoking, drinking and now eating.

Denied I had sleep apnea for almost 2 years ( although I was doing sleep studies and explaining every symptom I had to my patients) and been on CPAP for just over a year. I haven't felt better and what a way to get my patients trust is to tell them Im also a user! Also just fun fact, my mom, aunt, uncle, and cousin are all on CPAP theray as well.

Re: How long have you been on CPAP?
Interesting-looking graph. I actually expected it to look this way. After all, the lower the bar is (in sequence - for higher length of use), the longer the duration "window" is for that period of time.
If I take the average # of days for each 'window' and seek out the weighted average, we're looking at about 1248 days. That's about 3.48 years - again, an average of an average.
I wonder what it would look like (the graph and the average) if each bar represented the same period of time. And no, I'm not going to redo the poll or post another thread.
