Thanks for the link. I just placed my order.
I tried buying one over the counter and was told they had stopped making them due to some problem.
Of course I hope this is not true. The price drop is the push I needed to take that chance.
I have thought about ordering one every day since I first read up on them.
I received an Email immediately confirming my order. I will post a follow up on delivery and usage, etc, in an new thread.

Still shows at $350 at the above link for me 1 minute ago. I even added it to my cart to make sure. Unfortunately I had $300 worth of work done on my truck last week.... always something it seems like..

Funny, went to their web site on my own and the price is $409. Clicked on the above Link and it is $350. Bought this one. Ditto on the follow-up.

Note the word discounts in the above link making it a different link.

I wonder if they ARE unloading them because of the problem mentioned above?

From reading this forum I got the impression that Turner Medical is a reliable supplier. Hope this is not the case. What problems have popped up about the 7500?

I've been looking for something like this, need to see how bad I desaturate O2 when not using CPAP.
I foolishly took ambien during my sleep study so not sure how bad my AHI really is without a sedative. I also had a dental
device made so I need to see if I desaturate using this oral appliance.
I'm using Vista, will the software work?

Web site states that this software is not certified for Vista. I have Vista & XP. Will report back.

The software provided with my SPO 7500 worked without a hitch on my 64 bit Relase Candidate for Windows 7. I would think you would have no problems with Vista.

Thanks for the info! Sounds that it would work with Vista. Hopefully someone here can confirm? Worst case I'm going to upgrade to 7 anyway.
Is it worth the money for the SPO 7500?

I have an SPO7500, and even though I didn't want to spend that much, I tried three Contec pulse oximeters and couldn't get one to maintain a decent signal. The SPO7500 works well, and the software is very detailed though not difficult to use. I got it from Turner Medical and had no problems. Turner also offers a 10-day satisfaction guarantee, so if you don't like the SPO7500, you can return it for the cost of shipping.

Well worth it, IMO.

Mac33,

I've been using the SPO7500 with Vista Home Premium 64.

It does work ... be sure to go to the following website for the current software: http://www.temec.com/portal/faq

Click on "Vitascore" ... then "General" ... then the question regarding the drivers. It will take you to the download site.

By the way, if you plan to go to Windows 7 (64 bit) ... please contact SPO Medical and let them know that you need the update. The engineer in Netherlands told us that version 1.5 was just released for Windows 7 ... but only for 32 bit (go figure). He said that we needed to petition SPO Medical for a 64 bit release.
