Looking at the attached SH graph begs a question for me. I know from reading here that ResMed refers to all PB as CSR, but does the Airsense 10 Autoset machine not report it at all? Maybe a setting in SH?
That line in the flags chart won't show up unless some has been detected.
And presumably that line will stay in the flag chart going forward after that?
I don't believe so, why should it?, but, the only person that would know for sure would be Mark Watkins.

Yes, because there is now data to populate that field, even if it is only one isolated event. (This is my assumption. I finally got some PB flags (Achievement Unlocked! :-/ ), and now the line remains in my daily summary whether or not I get any PB flags that night.)

I'll stop posting everyday now and wait until there is something different.

Questions on cleaning. I'm sure everyone does something a little different re: how/frequency/etc.

Nasal Pillow: Right now I'm just rinsing with water every morning. I'm guessing I should be using soap or something. Any recommendations? Do I need to just kinda do a little soap and water or actually scrub (if that makes sense)?

Should I be cleaning anything else daily? Right now I have about 1/3rd the water leftover in the morning., I just add more DW to it before the evening. On this is it the same soap/process as the pillow?

Weekly I was going to clean the hose/water tank. What do I need to do with the headgear/etc?

Thanks

Boring report...nothing to say about boring reports.

Cleaning...I would use a little soap with that water on the pillows just to help remove any facial oils which might not be removed with plain water.
You are already cleaning the pillows more often than I do...Mine might get washed once a month...
When I do wash it...hot soapy tap water and a gentle rub with fingers with soapy water so any facial oils get removed...rinsed in the sink...tap water.
Only time I might do it more often is if I have a cold and a snotty nose..then I wash daily while ill.

Headgear...rarely gets washed and then only when I need to shrink it a bit because it gets stretched out and is a little too loose. Now if you use a lot of product on your hair and the headgear gets yucky...I would just hand wash it like I do the nasal pillows and let it air dry.

I never clean the hose and the water chamber maybe once a month. Otherwise I top it off nightly with distilled water.
Weekly bath is more than sufficient IMHO. Do whatever makes sense to you and you are comfortable with.

As to what soap I use...actually it's anything I have handy but I rather like nicely scented soap and I have some hand soap that smells like flowers and that's what I use because it's nice to smell it briefly on the nasal pillow.
Dawn kitchen soap works great too....safe enough for birds...won't hurt your equipment.

Pugsy thanks.

For the headgear is it a handwash or can I throw it in the washer?

Also, looking at my graphs and stats.

Average is 11.1, Max is 14.2 and 90% is 12.6

I'm guessing I should be happy I got the sleep study tech to write the pressure for my scrip for an APAP (10-17) vs just a CPAP at 15. I haven't even hit 15 in the first 3 nights and my average is like 11.

Yes, you can throw it in the washer and a lot of people do. I don't because I don't have or use a lingerie bag and the washing machine can be rather rough on velcro which is what my masks had for a long time (the P10 doesn't have any velcro) and I just got in the habit of hand washing. Takes maybe 10 seconds the few rare times I have done it.
People even throw it in the dryer but again with velcro you sometimes get some fuzz in the hook part and messes with things.

And yeah, you probably could use cpap at 13 or 14 or 15 but using 10 for a good bit of the time (especially while awake at the beginning of the night) is a whole lot more comfortable than using those higher pressures right from the beginning.
I don't know about you but when I am more comfortable I sleep better and for me comfort is a critical part of my therapy.
If I don't sleep so great then the most perfect numbers of anything doesn't really matter much because when I don't sleep good I don't feel so great during the day.

With the apap and the available range you don't have to worry about pressure needs varying a lot for some reason or other and anticipating those changes...like if you happen to need a little more pressure on your back or during REM...set the range and let the machine sort it out.
Sleep in whatever position you want to and don't worry about it.

Contrary to advice to keep TV out of the bedroom, there is a time and place for it.
When I feel that sleepy, I can hop over to the bedroom, tuck myself in (connected, of course);
and continue watching until the show is done or I drift off.
The bullfrog will shut the TV off when he makes it to the bedroom.
