Hi NormagiJoy, Turn the dial to the "settings" menu, then press and hold down simultaneously that button and the ramp button until the machine beeps. Turn the dial again to "settings" and press. That's the therapy menu - you'd set the pressures there.

As to pressure, I was suggesting a way to simulate a sleep study, but I agree with SewTired's and Pugsy's remarks. I would note that they both use Resmed machines and you'll be using a Respironics, which responds to events more sluggishly. But Pugsy knows both algorithms well; follow her advice and you should certainly learn whether you need treatment - possibly in a single night absent mask issues. You'll need to leave the machine in the APAP mode.

Yes, it is true that I currently use a ResMed machine but I have used Respironics in the past and in fact a Respironic is what I started by therapy with plus over the years have used the newer Respironics as they were released.
In fact I just recently got a chance to use a PR S1 model 560 identical to the one the OP has.
So I am very familiar with that machine as well.

I could imagine the arguments at the breakfast table once the data was downloaded over who actually messed up the AHI or the leak
