Clickable links to topics about Fisher & Paykel's

FlexiFit HC 405 and 407 nasal masks
Aclaim 2 nasal mask
HC 431 and 432 FF masks (full face covers nose and mouth.)

As with any masks, some like them, some don't.

F&P 407 - dissatisfied

Post by justanotherCPAPer » Wed Oct 17, 2007 1:55 pm

Previous F&P 405 user got talked into replacing it with 407 - technician claimed less trouble without the exhaust filters to worry about. Result: instead of the quiet filtered exhaust of the 405, the 407 has open vent holes that project a vitual hurricane of air at a 45 degree angle toward anyone next to you, in addition, the small holes get moisture from heated humidifier and begin sounding like a wheezy high-pitched harmonica as air passes through. Currently have a call in to my supplier but it's been 3 months and probably will get no satisfaction. Will reutrn to my old 405 and wait until I can get a new one.
