Need bipap machine

Post by Lgspivey » Mon Aug 11, 2014 7:35 am

I have a friend who has 7 children - the youngest child has a condition for which he needs a older model replacement bipap machine. My friend is looking for an auto-sv bipap machine by Respironics or an avps bipap machine.

I think a little more info might be in order here... especially as a child is concerned. I presume they have no insce? I thought children were covered (even in the US) for such things... but if not, not. Why an 'older' model? Can they pay anything? What are the child's prescribed requirements (apart from the machine you list) - why does he/she need that type of machine? And where is the doctor in all of this?

Insurance will not pay. Yes, she can pay for the machine. I don't know why she wants that particular machine but she is very knowledgable and experienced in taking care of her son who has a serious illness. I'm just trying to help her locate the machine she wants. Thank you for replying .

Do you know how much the machine is worth?
Do you know what the buyers budget looks like?

I have noted what approximately it is worth new. If you have one, please post the exact name of it, whether it is used, and what the price is. Then she can decide. Thank you. I have tried repeatedly to register so that I could private message you but to no avail. It keeps saying my email address is already in use.
