Hello
brand new machine user
when I wake up each morning, I get a 9.3 or 9.7. reading on the display.. Provided I don't touch the device, the reading will stay. Otherwise it disappears
what is the definition of this reading? vs the 90% reading. I do understand the 90% reading, but not this one
I also bought a Z1 travel CPAP device.. I need find my pressure setting for the Z1 using the resperonics system one A flex
thank you
Mike
Resperonics system one A-Flex settings
Re: Resperonics system one A-Flex settings
Hi - more info please...
What is your scripted pressure? What settings are you using now?
The #'s you gave (AHI - apnea/hypopnea index - see below) are higher than desirable so I wonder what mask you're using and could you be mouth breathing when asleep, losing all the therapy air that way (and possibly needing a full face vs nasal mask).
How do you feel now you're on Cpap - any better at all? It's very early though, so don't expect sudden large changes.
Your AHI is the # of events per hour you have when sleeping. I imagine it was a lot higher on your sleep study, but it's still too high if you're using Cpap all night... are you? Did no one explain anything to you or just hand over the machine and say good luck? We'll be happy to help out but more info would help us to do it.
