Big Nose!
Hey and thanks in advance for any advice - problem: I've got a really long nose! I've tried several of the masks and several types of gels but haven't found anything that "accommodates" my nose comfortably - everything seems to cause a lot of discomfort. Been using CPAP for almost a year and it helps a bunch but the nose thing is irritating.

Re: Big Nose!
The only thing that comes to mind, other than more costly custom made masks, is a total face mask https://www.cpap.com/productpage/respir ... dgear.html. If you decide to go that route then you might want to do a search here first or start a new thread with Total Face mask in the title and add "attention Sheriff ". He has used one for a few years now and is a wealth of info on it; the pro's & con's.

Have you looked at the Hybrid (on e.g. Cpap.com) - doesn't go near your nose except with 'pillows'.
Re: Big Nose!
Hi Jeff -- Which masks have you tried? I would guess -- only a guess -- that a nasal pillow mask would be a good choice because length of nose is not relevant to good fit. You just need to find the right size pillows for the nasal openings (nares).jeff dalton wrote:Hey and thanks in advance for any advice - problem: I've got a really long nose! Julie, I knew there was something else to suggest, but I could not come up with it . It must be time for some coffee or tea to get my brain working again . J D here is a link from our sponsor... https://www.cpap.com/cpap-masks/hybrid-cpap-mask.php.
