Greetings: Please follow my chat. Anyone stepping forth with technical information that will resolve the issue discussed in my chat with Miriam would be really appreciated.

Hello, how may I help you?

I have a GoodKnight 318 cpap machine manufactured by Puritan-Bennett that was issued to me in 1997. It still works beautifully, but I believe my air pressure needs have changed since this machine was first prescribed for me. I would like to recalibrate the machine according to how my night breathing habits have changed since 1997. How may I do this?

We have never carried that machine and therefore do not have the instructions on how to adjust the pressure setting. Are you able to contact the supplier you got the machine from?

You do have a GoodKnight on your web site, but it is a later model. I have not contacted the supplier, they are out of business, but I could contact the manufacturer perhaps.

Puritan Bennett is no longer in business.

Then how might I learn to recalibrate the machine? I see toggle switches and such that if I could contact someone who used to work with the GoodKnights I might get some decent help.

You may try on the CPAPtalk forum. We just never carried that model, so we do not have the setting instructions.

I found this old positing from 2005 that may help you with adjusting your setting:
