Hi,
Anyone having a problem with getting and keeping a good seal with the heated humidifier chamber? When full to the mark, there is still a air leak in the unit (loud). No humidifier no noise. If so how did you stop it?
Happy New Year

I trust you've checked the soft gaskets where the two parts join, the back of the humidifier to the tank and the tank to the lid? Latched and unlatched the two halves of the tank itself? There's no moving parts to go south in the humidifier so it seems it should be a gasket somewhere.

Gasket tears are easy to miss; our hosts sell replacement gaskets for many humidifiers.
I even bought a spare awhile back--probably ought to pull it out and look over the old one.
At least I'd know where the spare is, because, as we all know, most failures happen on holidays and weekends.

Muddpa,
I believe kwikwater and CF are probably right about the problem you are having. I once dislodged the dry box seal while wiping down the inside of the humidifier. You can feel it in the back of the humidifier once the water tank is removed. When the humidifer was turned on it made a lot of noise and the air flow was severely compromised. I used a flashlight to see where to reinstall the seal and after doing so had no issues.
If the seal is torn or damaged the you can get them from our host very cheap https://www.cpap.com/productpage/Dry-Bo ... ifier.html. I bought some as back ups as you never know when you might need something, like what CF alluded to.
