suffering on ASV, lower IPAP?
https://imageshack.com/i/0wvs5pp

http://imageshack.com/i/nqmmw9p
since I demask a lot on higher pressures should I lower the max IPAP to 15-16cm and the EPAP to 4-8cm? should I set the BPM lower on 10 and Ti to 2.0?
my AHI one hour is 15 and I'm getting centrals and all these pressure pulse and vibratory snore events. would I be helped by OSA surgery like tonsilectomy, UPPP, tongue coblation, septum surgery? I tried the trach for 6 weeks but didn't rest deeply but my brain fog somehow improved 2 months after, maybe it was supplements. I'm going to try diamox acetazolamide, anyone have great results with it?

You do not need to swear at Madalot. she has gone through one hell of a lot more than you have or will ever have. The one that needs a physchiatrist is YOU!sickwithapnea17 wrote:Madalot please stop fucking posting on my threads. if you have a psychiatric disorder please go seek a psychiatrist!!!

SWA/Dying .. BEHAVE YOURSELF!! Shame on you! You come hear asking for help, yet you curse at members of the forum. Shame on you!
We've been pretty clear that we do not see (and with 25 years of xPAP therapy under my belt, my thought on this is more than average) big issues with your ASV therapy.
I'm not saying you do not feel bad. I and others have noted that Klonopin can contribute to how you feel. Whether acetazolamide is a good alternative is WAY beyond the scope of this forum. We will not recommend one way or another. We are not doctors and have no idea if it is appropriate for you or not.
Regarding your settings, I've been very clear in the past .. EPAPmin of 4 is probably too low. Set it to 5 or 6 to better support respiration. Unless there is some reason to do so, I would also recommend an BPM setting of AUTO. Those are two simple things that will help.
But more important than any advice we can give (which you have a proclivity to ignore) is that you need to work with your doctor.

No, I don't think I can do that and with all due respect, I'm not the one behaving in a manner that warrants seeing a psychiatrist.sickwithapnea17 wrote:Madalot please stop fucking posting on my threads. if you have a psychiatric disorder please go seek a psychiatrist!!!
Like John and several others have said, I am giving you the benefit of the doubt and do believe you don't feel well. And I am sorry for that. But as others have said, it's not your xpap/asv therapy based on the reports you are showing. People here cannot fix what's not broken.
I'm thinking of a person that takes their car to a mechanic complaining it won't run. The mechanic sees the car is out of gas and says "well, you need to put gas it it!" They put gas in, the driver goes on their merry way but has the vehicle towed to the mechanic complaining it won't run, again out of gas. And on and on it goes. The mechanic cannot fix a car that isn't malfunctioning and if the driver won't listen to what they are told about what they need to do to keep the car running, there's nothing the mechanic can do.
The analogy isn't exactly right, but you all get the idea.
The only reason I keep posting is because inevitably, a new forum member comes in and spends a ton of time reading and posting, not realizing how much time has already been wasted trying to get you to seek other sources for figuring out your issues.

Sorry swa17 but no one is going to have anything beneficial to say regarding your asv or treatment...... whenever they have ... you don't listen. You can swear, tell people to stop and delete their threads..... it won't help.sickwithapnea17 wrote:I told you to STOP posting on my thread madalot.

SWA 17, If I were you and felt as bad as you do, I would try this immediately as it could certainly help and provide some relief/improvement. Only you can be held accountable for lack of action on expert level advice. Only you... please take action .

This analogy makes perfect sense to me! We are all responsible for our actions or lack of actions. We at times need to get out of our own way; healing and improvement often follows when we do

Sorry, SWA17. I'm a grown woman who has every right to post in any thread. And with a few bumps, I have been a pretty nice member of this forum. You, on the other hand, have not.sickwithapnea17 wrote:I told you to STOP posting on my thread madalot.

If you put even half the effort into working with your doctors as you have at posting and re-posting questions, then cursing members who tell you the truth, you'd be sitting pretty and feeling better by now.
Words of wisdom to live by. Or not live by if you choose to keep on the way you have. Only you can decide which you prefer.
But the more you tell me not to post in your threads, the more I am inclined to do so. I can be a bit of a w*itch that way.
Thanks, 2 B Sleeping Soundly! I wrote it and felt it wasn't quite accurate to SWA's situation, but was too weary to try to fix it.2 B Sleeping Soundly wrote:Madalot wrote: I'm thinking of a person that takes their car to a mechanic complaining it won't run. And I do feel for SWA17 and wish there was something any of us could do. And I can excuse so much of the behavior because I know what it's like to NOT feel well. I get it. But there comes a point where as you said -- we're still responsible for our actions regardless of how awful we feel.

You're a good one, JohnBFisher. I'm so glad you're on the forum to help those that will listen to you.
I need to correct something. You mistakenly used a quote from my posted response in this thread and credited it to JohnBFisher. Though I aspire to show the same wisdom, experience, and the gentle and helpful sprit he has shown here for many years, I am not in the same league and feel that I need to acknowledge that and correct any confusion I may have caused in my post... too many John's for sure . Thank you though for the huge, but accidental compliment .

Thanks Maddie! Good to hear that you slept long and hard last night. All those here who are following your posts/threads and are supporting you through our thoughts and prayers, know that good sleep for you is not the norm, but the exception. Best wishes for more nights of good deep sleep, you so deserve at least that!Madalot wrote:I fixed it. Thanks for pointing it out to me! Very sweet of you, John. Thank you! I was incredibly tired last night and my boys left at the crack of dawn today, so I slept in. If not for the phone at 9:30, I might have slept until Noon! I got a good 10.5 hours in, ON the machine, so it's good.2 B Sleeping Soundly wrote:Thanks Maddie! Good to hear that you slept long and hard last night.
