Changing Heated Humidifier Settings

Post by 1Tallman » Sun Nov 10, 2013 10:20 am

Hi I am new to the Forum but have been using a CPAP machine for about five years.

I have an older REMstar/plus unit by Respironics along with the heated humidifier.

My question is: can I make changes to the 'humidity setting' (+ or -) on my model?

The manual says you can but doesn't say how to do it, nor does the separate heated humidifier booklet explain how.

I am assuming that the humidity setting is different from the 'pressure' setting

My CPAP model is: Respironics "Remstar Plus" CPAP Model # 1012668

My Heated Humidifier model is: Respironics "Remstar" Heated Humidifier Model # 1005792

Thanks for your help!

Go to this website and look for the manual for your machine.
In the provider/clinical manual you can read up on how to adjust the humidifier settings.
